Got a call today, no message just a hang up.

Just got a call, 8/16/2010 at 5:46pm EST.  No message

Received a call from 215-944-8989 didn't answer.  i tried to call back and only has a busy tone... They need to get a life!

Just got a call on my cell (Virgin Mobile user).  Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  No message left.  Now I'm glad I didn't wait my money or my time answering it.

Called both my private work phone and my co-worker's within hours of each other. Starts with applause and ends with pre-recorded woman saying something in Spanish. Not sure how they get our numbers!!

I also received a call from this number, I do not answer numbers that I do not know. They didn't leave a voicemail. I tried calling back blocked number and it said that the number was no longer available.

How are these "scamers" getting our information?
How can we stop the annoying calls?

This number called myVerizon cell phone August 16, 2010 in CA.
Was a recording in spanish. Very annoying. Stop these people ASAP.

Received a call from this number at 5:56 PM PST and unfortunately I answered it.  I reported their number on the FCC website.  This has been happening to me frequently over the past month but by different phone numbers.  So far no additional charges have shown on my account.  I am with Virgin Mobile on a monthly plan.

If you look online you will find hundreds of reports of this happening going back years. No charges ever show up on bills, nor are viruses transmitted. So what it the point of these bizarre calls?

Hidden within the static and applause are high-frequency bursts designed to activate the alien mind-control implant devices. These calls are being sent by secret alien sleeper cells which were activated by coded messages in Fox News broadcasts. As the implant victims (abductees who had their memories of the event erased) come more and more under the control of the alien masters, their behavior becomes increasingly irrational and their speech loses logic and coherence. The plan is to have millions of subjects vote for the implant victim who has been activated the longest, Sarah Palin. Many other subjects under varying degrees of control have been seen wearing tricorner hats with teabags on them. The plan is to continue to destroy their brains so as to subjugate the country, take control of the mass media, and boost the range of our broadcast capability so they can get better reception of reruns of Gilligan's Island in their dimension. We not know whether they prefer Ginger, Mary Ann, or the Professor.

Of course, this is all speculation. Perhaps the symptoms exhibited by Sarah Palin have nothing to do with alien mind-control.

just called at 7:50pm PDT, a 1 second voicemail registered on my phone, though there was no sound on the message. I did not call back. I'm an AT&T customer.

8/16 5:20 pm Pacific (daylight savings) time. When I answered, a recording was playing. I think the message was spanish.

Next time I will not be kind.  Do not call again, seriously.

The message states that you have 'won' something and that you should press '1' or '2' to activate the feature in your phone. Again, too much static to make something out if it. But don't pay attention to it, call your provider and tell them that this number has called. They will fix them immediately.

please get these people to stop calling me, i am on a limited minutes and a budgetand they waste them.
