They keep calling but no one is there. I wouldn't have answered except I am expecting a call. Caller id says wireless caller.

They call two or three times a day. They threaten with criminal charges unless I pay to remove the charge. I told her to wipe her ass with her papers.

I received the same message- I lived in Louisiana for years,  So I made that same mistake.

this number called @ 7;18 pm 7/21/2015  my cell which has a block , want this to stop !

I got a call from this number today.  It was a local number, so I answered it.  It was a recorded message from "Tim" in the "Customer Service Department", and it started talking about how I'd recently stayed at one of their resorts but hadn't been offered the customer bonus.  That was the point at which I hung up and blocked the number.  Caller ID didn't give a name, just showed the number.

Returned a missed call and it said the Verizon number was disconnected.

C'mon people! If you get a call that states: "this is an important call, please don't hang up." You should hang up as soon as those words are spoken! Sometimes I answer my phone with out looking at the number. So I guess I'm as likely to get phished as the next person on their call list. National do not call does not seem to work!

Thanks for this info. I didn't answer because I figured it was a scam or a dun.  I don't want a free anything. And one way or another they are out to fleece you.

Yep, like many others.  I was expecting a call from Baton Rouge (225 area code) so when I saw I missed this 225 #, I called right back.  It said, "Welcome to Verizon Wireless.  This # is no longer in service or has been disconnected..."

How can it be an invalid number when I just received a call from it?  That seems strange.

Verizon number stated number has been changed, disconnected, etc.

Someone with access to an IP phone system can send any number as a caller ID. It's illegal and unethical, but can be done.

9:00am CST 8/14/15 got a call from this number.  The guy said" this is Chris from Customer Service", I then hung up.  I blocked the number from future calls.

The government SELLS the numbers on the DO NOT CALL LIST ! That is why you have to CONTINUOSLY put your number on the list, it is just a useless viscous circle.

I got a missed call on my cell , the name is listed just "Louisiana",called the number back and Verizon voice message says it is disconnected etc etc....................Very wierd
