I received a call from this number at 8:46am and it woke me up... it was so annoying. Apparently this call is from the Ontario area :S.

Just received the call on my cellphone in Saskatoon, SK.

just received a voice mail message from this number stating it's from Bell Canada and I won something. confirmed with Bell Canada this is a scam

Just got a call from this number at about 140 pacific time. Wtf mate?!

Just got one too on July 28, 2010. Didnt pick it up while at work and they left no message.

I just received this call about a minute ago.  I never answer if I don't recognize the #.  They never leave a message either.

just got called by them on my cell a few minutes ago and answered because it was an Ontario number...stupid scammers hung up as soon as the voice recording kicked in about being a valued customer.

+1(226)4858989 called my mobile number 3 times. Automated messgae informing me as a valued customer of Zellers I was eligible for a cash prize, push #1 on my phone keypad. Ignored and hung up.

I have not been a customer of Zellers for over 20 yrs. Cards I had held cut up. Account closed by my request.

Using region track-back software installed on my phone I have learned that this number originates in a country called Burkina Faso located on the African continent.

missed the call

Just got the same type of call. I'm probably averaging 1 a week now. Phone number on the call display are coming from Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and BC. I answered the first few but they're easy to spot now and I just disconnect the call without answering it. I think every number used in the call display is spoofed so even reporting this phone fraud to the RCMP won't get any results.

Got a call at 3:57 pm pacific time. Said I was a valued rogers customer and to press 1 to claim $2,500 travel money. Big Scam.

Received a call from this number about 5 minutes ago.  Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer it. Like everyone else, there was no voicemail left.  So much for being on the national do not call list.  Ugh.

Received this call on my cell at 7:05pm in Ottawa, Ontario. No one was there. I AM SO SICK OF THESE PEOPLE!

Received a call from this number saying "You are a valued Canadian Tire customer and have just won 3000 travel dollars.  Press 1 to claim."

I didn't press 1 - you shouldn't either.

Just got a call from this number on my work cell.  Did not answer and no message.  

Can't these parasites be blocked by the phone company since they're obviously scammers, gathering that from reading the other posts above.

I was called from this # on my (Rogers) cell . It was a recording claiming to be from Bell Canada, saying I was a valued customer and to press a key for "3,000 travel dollars." I hung up.
