I've gotten this call three times to my cell phone and its irritating me.  They want to speak to someone who isn't me, I have told them I wasn't the person.. (not so nicely on the last call) that the number they were calling was a cell phone and they need to stop calling and remove me from their call list.  (I'll see if that works.. no expecting it to though)  The guy told me the company was Gold Coast and the number he gave me to call to speak with someone about it was 1 - 866- 239 -6788.

I received a call from this number and they hung up on me

My wife got the same call.  It was after 9 p.m. and that's what tipped me off that this wasn't right.  Then she started the pitch about the $300 gas card after "verifying" who she was speaking with.  I'm afraid that by saying "yes" to the question of "Is this Mrs. ______?" that they may use that as a recorded "yes" for their offer.  I'll be keeping an eye on our accounts and credit report and I'd advise everyone else to do so as well.

Calling for 2 days now.  I won't answer and they don't leave a message

i haev been recieving calls from this person and he asked for an unknown man who i am not familiar with. The name he asked for is the same person who is wanted for murder and the police have contacted me many times thinking i am this man.

These people keep calling me about 4 times a day. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

They call me every day, I never get a chance to answer the phone, but when I call BK no one answers and it says that the voicemail hasn't been set up. I even call BK less than a minute, after they call...this is so annoying. How do I get it to stop?

got a call on my cell phone said it was in regard to my master card and gave me the ending numbers of my card, when i asked who they were with, they hesitated then said "excuse me", I again asked who they were with and she repeated she was verifying my credit card, I asked if it was marketing or what and asked again who she was with she hung up on me, when I tried to call number back no answer, then got a recorded message the person I was calling was not available.

After several calls they said that after I had been a long time Mastercard user they were offering me a free $300.00 gas card. They explained that after using it a 5 3/4% charge would appear on my bill after I used the card. I then told them I wasn't interested in extending my credit at this time.

As an Addendum: I called my bank and let them know that my account had been phished.

Received a call this afternoon from this number. An Indian woman informed me that I was receiving this call regarding my Mastercard (and verified the last four digits of my actual card). They wanted to reward me for being a cardholder by sending me a $300 gas card and a coupon booklet; however they wanted $3 S/H, and for me to confirm my name and address. I told them I was uncomfortable with verifying any information, and didn't know who was calling me, and hung up.

Well I went on google to find out why this phone number keeps popping up and calling while leaving no voice mail 3 to 4 times a day. Then finally someone asks for my wife. And started asking her questions about my credit card. Well I also just ordered a Buxton Purse for her in her name as noted on this blog by another. Beware, someone is trying to access your card thru the Buxton TV ad info mercial.

I just started to receive phone calls from this number as well which I never answer. They never leave messages and just continue to call and call. I decided to google the phone number and found this page. I now know that I am not alone.
What do we do?

This is becoming very very irritating. I get calls from this number even of weekends. Is there anyway by which we can let the concerned authorities know?

I recieved a call and the guy (with heavy Indian accent) mentioned about a master card that i have. I asked him the company he was calling from and he hung up on me.
Second call a lady called me regarding my master card ending with 0...(can't remember the last three #s. She offered free gas coupons other incentives. I told her, 'I do not own a master card in the first place. This is a fraud, I know we are going thru recession please do not try to scum me and please stop calling me i will report you to the authorities.'

These people call almost daily but I never answer, they don't leave a message. This is one of 4 numbers that call me consantly!

Called concerning my Visa card. I asked her why she was calling my cell phone, she said she would call my house. It's been about ten minutes now and she still hasn't called back. I have also received strange calls from a (616) area code...

obv a call center of some kind. called asking for the digits to a visa - I kept asking who it was but they kept avoiding the question so I hung up
