This number has called me several times. After the first call I had my debit card changed and has a fraud alert put on my bank accounts. That was about a month ago. Just this week they started calling me again. I have told them over and over that I do not have a card ending in the numbers xxxx but they keep calling. When I hang up on them they call back. I'm thinking about getting my number changed.

I received 2 calls from this # just tonight, but did not answer them.  I googled the number and have read all the comments and am glad I did not answer it.  I was very surprised to learn this was such a scam of a number and thought it was an old friend trying to reach me.

Have any of you used the website http://www.wheresmycellphone.com/ ? The calls from this number started after the first time I used that website. I hate talking on the phone so never answer calls from numbers I don't know. They called a few times then stopped for a few weeks. Then two days ago I used that website again, bam 4 hours later the phone calls from this number started again.

I received a call from this number after I filled out an online form for a free trial for the ACAI Berry product.  I did not complete the form because the "so called free trial" required a credit card number and they would automatically debit my card if I did not call to terminate the service after the free trial period.  I closed out the online form but apparently the still retained my contact info.  Consumers BEWARE I would never allow a company to debit my card for a free trial.  I have heard too many horror stories how difficult it is to get rid of these companies once they have your credit card info.  In addition, if the product is as good as they claim it to be they shouldn't have to resort to these type of tactics.

I've gotten 3 phone calls from this number so far in one day. Once at 11:41 a.m, the second at 2:41 p.m, and the latest one at 6:18. I didn't answer, because I did not recognize this number.

So to all the previous posts, thank you for letting me know what that number was saying and I will make sure that I do not answer the phone call.
I also didn't even know that a (231) area code existed.

The past 3 days I've received numerous calls from 3 different numbers in MI (I don't live anywhere near Michigan). On 11/17,  616-980-7365 called me twice; I didn't answer and they left no messages. On 11/18,  231-732-2737 called me FIVE TIMES. I tried to answer the last time, but missed it so I called back. I got a recording about "order confirmation." On 11/19, 517-933-2016 called me three times. I answered the 3rd call and spoke with someone who identified himself as "Tim" with "Card Member Services." He referred to me by name and said it was regarding Mastercard ending with XXXX (he gave me the last 4 digits of my card). He said they were going to send me $120 in gas certificates in a red & white envelope to my address. As he was stating my address, I interrupted him and told him to remove my information from their database. It's only been 30 minutes so we'll see if I get more calls. I'm planning to report this to my bank and possibly the police as well.

This is the second time I received a call from this number.  The first time he called he knew the last 4 digits of a current CC adn tried to verify my home address.  I just hung up. I called Visa and reported it.  They gave me a new card.  This time he called; said his name was Sean and still had the old CC number and tried to verify my address. The guy says I'll get a gift gas card of $120.00 and tried to get some personal info.  I just hung up.  BEWARE BEWARE, this is a scammer trying to get info from you probably to struck your real Credit card!!

On December 8, 2009, I received six phone calls on my mobile phone from number 231.732.2737. My cell phone number is only given to friends; therefore, it’s virtually unlisted. The phone number 231.732.2737 showed on my caller ID.

On a return phone call to that number, a voice machine requested information so that a delivery could be made. I did not speak to anyone, as I never placed any orders in recent history, nor do I release my cell phone number, as I have a business landline phone.

On an Internet search, the phone number 231.732.2737 shows that it is an unpublished number in Michigan. I reported the possible PHISH and illegal SCAM operation to Verizon Telephone Company regarding an investigation and a report to the FCC. Obviously, changing a phone number is easy, and I would hope that an investigation would uncover the identity of those running this operation.

    stop calling me
231-732-2737 called several times today but never left voice mail.
Their voice messages says they are "Order confirmation department calling to confirm recent order...yada yada".  They never state who they are.
Found this website and concluded they were telemarketers or worse.
I'm on the "Do not call" national registry.
Such companys are a scourge that should be eliminated.

Same story as above, same numbers came up on caller ID (231-732-2737).  Thing is, I DID have an order pending from a local company, so I answered the call, and was given "the pitch", and the gal insisted that I only had to pay "shipping and handling" for a gift card and she needed only to confirm my address.  I said no, get me off the list, and she continued to talk about the shipping and handling blah blah.  She also mentioned something about if I did not want to "continue with the service" I could call an 800 number.  I said, "No, I don't want to call anyone to cancel a service, just don't sign me up for the service in the first place!!"  I am not convinced she will not charge my card, whichever card that is.  But folks on this site say that the caller DID have a card number. I told her take my name off list. Don't believe they will.  So again, called my bank and cancelled my credit cards. (I recently cancelled a card because of some other fraudulent continuing charges.) This is the third time I've had to do that.  Oh yeah, what about being on the "do not call" registry?  I thought that if you are "cold called" by solicitors who are not exempt, that they get nailed for doing so.  How do I go about making sure that happens??? So I agree, don't answer if you don't know.  If someone is trying to reach you, they will indeed leave a voice mail.  Anyway, thanks to those who went before me with warnings.  Probably saved me lots of bucks.  Thanks for this service!

Caller said I would be sent a $100 gift certificate from a store from which I had made a recent purchase using my credit card for which they gave the last four digits. I would also be eligible for large discounts from several major stores. The only cost to me would be $1.95 for sending the gift certificate and discount materials. I presume they would next have asked for the rest of my credit card number to cover the $1.95 cost. I told the caller to make no charge to my credit card, and hung up. A scam? I don't know. How did they get the last 4 digits of my card? And Phone number?

I just got a call like this this morning. It's the 2nd call I've received like this. The first one, when I asked how he got my info he said I ordered something through a third party or something. When asked where I ordered from, he was not able to give me a name. This morning, the woman said I had a $100 rebate coming and asked me to confirm my address. I said I would not confirm anything and did not want to receive anything in the mail. I told her not to call me again, but I also said that to the first guy who called, so who knows? I really have no idea what this is about, but it's definitely not legit

I received a call from this company two months ago.  They said I had made a "small purchase" with a Visa card whose last 4 digits match my OLD debit card.  They said I would get a $100 gift card in the mail for making this "small purchase".  They asked me to confirm the entire debit card number and my personal information.  I refused to do so and informed them that the card they were calling in reference to was no longer a valid card because I had cancelled the account.  They then hung up on me.  I thought that was the end of it, until I got a call today saying the same thing...  Be very cautious!!
