I just got a call today and they actually gave me the last 4 digits of my card number and knew the town I live. They wanted to send me some free gas coupons and wanted to charge me 2.95 for shipping. They were also going to send me a package of discounts and enroll me in some program. They girl never asked if I wanted to but I told her not to send me anything and that it was weird she had my account info. She said I used my card at one of their merchants and I was chosen....blah blah. I said again not to send me anything and she was rude and said well I answered your question and hung up on me. I am so scared! How did she know my info??

I, too, have recieved numerous calls from these people.  I called it back, listening to the automated message about some bogus 'order' I placed.  Yeah, right.  One of the options on the automated message is 'to remove your number from the call list, press 3', I did this and I now am getting calls from ANOTHER number. (517-933-2017) So, after googling both numbers, I found out they are both based in Michigan and I'm sure affiliated with one another. I have not returned any calls.  They are just trying to trick you by calling from a new number.  Do not answer or call them back at either number!!!

This number called me on 1/11/10 at 7:58 PM. How f***ing rude!!! I never answer these kind of calls! On caller ID... it shows up as "ORDER CONFIRMAT".. I hope these people get caught asap!

As previous posts, I am 100% certain this a scam! DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS!

First they have a nice representative saying that are going to send you gas cards, then they verify your address & the last 4-digits of your card card, then they transfer you to an intimidating, rude, unprofessional person who tries to get you to make a VERBAL AGREEMENT with their company trying to charge your credit card for $2.95 shipping, then an additional $60 a month with a 800# to call to cancel, then they never give you the number.

I told the representative they were unprofessional, rude and I didn't want anything sent to me and they said they were "SENDING IT ANYWAY" whether I like it or not. She argued with me for minutes, yelling at me (the supposed customer), then I ask to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor gets on the line she says "What, who? I can't hear anyone" and HANGS UP. This line has been used by CON ARTISTS SINCE THE 70s! You call back the phone number and it's an automated system, doesn't say what company and doesn't give you the option to speak to anyone.

Now i have to go to the bank tomorrow, cancel my account and transfer my funds. I hate solicitors.

Just because of that stupid sales representative I am going to every single phone number ID site and telling my story. they are scams!!

I have received about 8 calls total from this number the past few days. I google all unknown numbers, so I am glad I saw all the complaints.  Now I am getting calls from an unknown 517-933-2017 number too.  I've just added them to my call reject list, but this is getting very annoying.

I received this call a couple days ago, I didn't give them any info, but the things they were saying were all just like you guys have described. I hung up on them and they have been calling like 5 times a day ever since. I am contacting the Attorney General of my state, as they are the ones who handle scams, it would benefit everyone to do the same as well. And also prevent this from happening to others (and yourselves) in the future! Just google your state's attorney general and give them a call or shoot them an email and let them know what is going on!

I got the same call last night from the 231-732-2737 number and they knew the last 4 digits of my card number as well as my address.  Before I knew it they were confirming they would be sending me a 100 gift card in the mail.  I called the credit card company and they had NO RECORD of anyone calling me from Visa.  I can canceled my card immediately.

I have gotten a phone call from this number for the last 3 mornings no one leaves a message and they keep calling me at 0300 my time........ Very annoying!

These guys are frequent flyers.  We get unwanted calls almost exclusively on our land line (We keep our cell phones off), but these guys take the prize.  According to Caller ID, they've called 6 times so far today (once yesterday for the first time).  Of course there's no message.  It's a sneak attack.  Honest callers leave a message.  We do not pick up, if only because we could be placed on a list of those likely to pick up and at what time.  We'd never press ANY buttons to "get off the calling list" (We've been in the Do Not Call Registry).  The buttons could open your line to their use.  It also best not to invite or engage in any conversation so they cannot misconstue anything you say.

I started getting calls from this number two days ago.  They call about every hour to hour and a half, never leaving a voice message.

It is a company trying to sell some "retail discounts" 1st month free and then 24.99 a month.  I got 4 calls before anyone answered when I said "hello".

I too keep getting calls from this number and no messages have been left. I called it back and the recording said they were trying to confirm my information on product i ordered. and that without my verification my order wouldnt ship.

Why cant our government enforce the do not call registry, and levy hugre fines on these people harrassing us.
They have the number they must be able to track them, they tax us for everything else why not raise monet by fining these people.
They call 4 -5 6- times a day.

just called ,my house ..caller is says order confirmaton..my daughter answered phone and a VERY loud woman told her she was calling to confirm an order her mom made with her and she would call back...this is strange i havent purchased anything and am scared they can access my info and my money .has anyone had charges made??

I have received a few calls from the 231-732-2737 number and as many others have posted they never leave a message.  Previously I had received a phone call from a 517 number verifying the last four digits of my bank card, which happened to be a card that I had previously replaced due to the bank switching from Mastercard to Visa's.  When they verified the last four of my card number I told them flat out they were trying to scam me because my bank knows I don't have that card anymore and I told them I was going to report them first to the bank and then to the Attorney General.  Immediately following the call I telephoned my bank who told me they would NEVER call me wanting me to provide them with my card information and that I did the right thing by hanging up on them.  I never received another call from that number but the 231 calls started yesterday and like many others I called it back and it is only an automated line.

I HATE PEOPLE/COMPANIES THAT HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN SCAM HARD WORKING PEOPLE.  THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

These s0ns@bitche$ keep calling me and I'd like to find out their super secret friends only personal cell phone numbers and call them nite and day without leaving a message.

I got four calls today and three calls yesterday from this number (231 732 2737). I let it go to voicemail but they did not leave one. I googled the number and found many reviews of people with calls from this number. I decided to answer the lastest call in person (4th call today). The woman asked me if I was XYZ? (It was my correct name). I said "yes", she said that she was calling on behalf of Vista Marketing and said that she was calling about my visa card ending in the last four digits (which were the last four digits of my visa card!) and that there was nothing wrong with the visa but that she wanted to confirm the address to send a $120 gas gift card to. At that point I told her that I had googled the number she was calling from because I had received four calls already today from it and that I knew it was a scam and to NEVER call me again. I hung up as she was saying her response. BE CAREFUL!!!!

I'm on vacation, and this number keeps calling my cel phone, non- stop. I answered once, and he told me I was going to get gasoline coupons! Should we report this to the Michigan attorney general?
