I too got a text about a prcel from this number. I am not going to call it as I am not expecting a parcel and will take the risk of not receiving it.

i received a text regarding an urgent parcel delivery from international parcel deliveries-i text back asking who it was for and where it was from....no reply so far!  it said to phone the above number and was sent from mob no +447990645404

Likewise. Just got this text from same mobile number as mentioned above, asking me to dial the 232 number. Not expecting parcel, not missed any calls, so can only assume this is a scam.

its a scam they make money by getting you to ring them.

I have recently had an international parcel gone missing and thought it maybe that but searched and found it was bogus....

I too had a message today about parcel.I am actually expecting a delivery so when i recieved message i thought it had to with the order i placed until i saw that the number it gave to phone was international.I've done a bit of research on this matter and found that the number it asks you to call (+2322227065) is actually based in FREETOWN , SIERRA LEONE so my advice is to steer clear.The number i recieved this message from was +44(0)7919594688 which is a vodafone network number. i'm on vodafone also so i've phoned them up and logged all details with them. So this is a message to scammers . vodafone are aware of what your doing so expect to be contacted very very soon. :O)

Like a bit of a muppet I decided to call it. Bang went £1.50 credit and that was just to hear a telephone ringing!

I'm quite curious to know what my network - T-mobile - is doing about this? How do these individuals have yours and my number?

I would call them and ask them but I've run out of credit now...

I got a couple of these yesterday - I was waiting for a bed delivery - but the fact it was an international number (and different numbers each time) - I ignored them. I do hope it doesn't keep texting me - it's v. annoying.

How do they get our numbers - or is it random? The only thing I've rgistered for is gumtree on Friday.

I just had a missed call from ++23222270685, thought it was a strange number so typed into google, thankyou for saving me a fortune in credit.

basically a scam it was sent to me twice so i did ring it and it cost me 2.90 for not many seconds and nobody on the end !!!

I have reported the mobile number to Ofcom as my mobile is protected by telephone preference service. I am awaiting there response and will post an update when available/.

I noticed I'd missed a call so rang the number back, I knew it was an international number but I have many contacts overseas and international calling is included in my tarrif, even so I was cautious fearing that it was possibly a scam as I have had scam calls from 07061738096 and 07061703549 and 07053517089 and 07061758618 and 07042529286 and 07053569080 and 07042529286 and 07061706195 I got caught out the first time but was well aware of the 070... numbers after that, this all started after I posted a motor bike for sale on Gumtree who clearly make money from selling personal details and dont seem to care who to. The mobile phone companies can sit pretty as their doing nothing wrong whilst at the same time also cashing in on the calls as they can see upto 50% of the premium call cost, so dont expect them to do anything about it, lets face it their computers control the network, if they wanted to block a number it could be done across the entire network in seconds, clearly they don't monitor the system or it's not in their best interests as the first post on this site for the 23222... number was on Sunday of last week, if they clamped down on it imediately the risk would outweigh the reward for the scammers as they would not have enough time to generate the calls required to see the return. The system is not well regulated if the phone companies were made to pay for the bogus calls their reactions would be instant!!

Just had a missed call from the number +23222270685.  Only rang once.  This scam is still active.  I have become aware now and so don't ring back, but I don't understand why Ofcom and the phone companies allow this type of thing to continue.

Received numerous texts, predominanyly every saturday evening from a UK mobile number stating I have a pacel and need to call +23222270685 - now what parcel company delivers on a sunday? With out leaving a calling card in the first place???

This is the second message in 2 days saying "!!URGENT!! Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery Please Call NOW on......+2322270685 For Delivery Tomorrow International Parcel Deliveries.

Never even opened this text.  If you tell it to forward message you can read it without actually opening it.  Scam merchants do my head in!
