Sent my husband Nasty text about me totally not true. How can I find out who sent it?

There's an app on your phone you can download.  I did & it will tell you if it's a scam or not.

These idiots called me two times today. Wtf ? I answered in a scarey Halloween voice and she asked me if I was mad. I said yeah I'm mad cuz this BS number keeps calling me and I hung up.

Got a call from my cellphone, not message left.

got a call from above number andguy asked for my husband - I said he is not available - they asked if I was a family member and I said yes - then they hung up   -  I saw in the news a couple weeks ago that there were scammers out there asking a question looking for people to respond with a "yes" answer and somehow they end up using this against you - can't remember exactly what news report said to keep an eye out for but they had said you shouldn't answer and hang up immediately - unfortunately they caught me off guard and I responded "yes" to second question.  Does anyone know what I should be looking out for - not sure how they use answer against you - any guidance would be appreciated = called the local police to report but they said it wouldn't do any good as it was most likely a throw away phone and he hadn't heard anything about this - so he was no help

Been getting calls from this same number, finally blocked it. Just seen how people have been getting calls on this number now for over 10 year's. That's insane!

The number called me while I was already on the phone so didn't see the caller i.d. They asked for me by my full name and said that they worked for the government and was trying to give me a grant. I have a disability case open that I am trying to close out so I thought this was them. She asked if I wanted the money I said yes. Then she started asking me personal info. ( s.s.#, birthdate, etc) When she asked for my drivers license number I thought something was weird. I said hold on you're  asking to much over the phone. Then she hung up. These people are identity theft people. Watch out.

this number called asked for what sounded like Sandra.  very foreign.  location ezs unknown.

Called six or seven times

Got a call today from this number. She said they were my electric supplier and that they could give me 15% discount on my electric usage. I didn't catch the name of company. I said I have ppl electric and she said yes but their company supplies my electric. She said they needed my account # so she can apply the 15% discount. I said you should know my account #. She said they don't have that information. I told her I do not have my account #. She said it would be on a previous bill. I told her I don't have any previous bill that I shred them. I told her I will call PPL and look into this. I pulled out a previous bill and they are NOT my electric supplier. They are trying to get personal information. DO NOT fall for this trick. It is a scam!!! Hope they call back so I can tell them I know they are trying to scam people.

Got a text today saying that my cell number had been chosen and I had won 1.2 million dollars in the Mega Millions May Lottery. Yeah, right! This is obviously a phony number that scammers use to hide behind. I am sure the number does not exist.

this nuisance call calls me several times a day, telling me my computer is at risk, and to contact them immediately

Wouldn't it be easier to answer the call, ask who they are and request to be removed from their list?  Perhaps I'm mistaken but it seems like more of a hassle hunting them down.  Plus you get to give them a piece of your mind and tell them how annoying they are.

Sick and tired of getting calls from so many strange numbers especially this one it doesn't even have enough numbers to make a valid phone number, in the United States anyway!!

They called my phone, I awnsered as I get a lot of these calls dead silence then hung up in seconds

i dont know who they are. if i dont know the number i will not answer it. it has called my number 7 times this morning i am a day sleeper and this is really pissen me off
