Just rec'd a call from the same number. He said he was calling about my computer
told him I never called anyone about my computer and to take me number of his calling list.
He said what " you dont like my voice"  As a matter of fact I don't, so don't call me again.
Who the hell is this person and what are they up to?

This number called as well and actually left a vm.  They said that the call was for INSERT WRONG  NAME HERE regarding their online order.  The caller said his name was Johnny and he needed some confirmation information before the delivery can be made.  He said that I can call them at 877-479-2455.  He also said they were open 24hrs.  Not once would did he state the name of the company.

The 877 number looks like it is for an online pharmacy or telemarketer based in Canada.

It sounds like a phishing scam.

its someone pranking you, you can go on a website and punch in the number you want to call and it will call with that number

I got the same number, They said that they are from windows and my computer is infected. I said how do you know. They said that is has been happening for a few weeks. They wanted me to turn on my computer. It was already on. I hung up

I received this call. too. They said that they are from windows and my computer has malicous ware on it. I said to them how do you know. They then proceded to tell me to turn my computer on. It was on.I hung up on them,

Got a call on my call at 9:20 am today, with an incomplete caller ID phone number.  No message was left. 234 is the country code for Nigeria, and the area code for NE Ohio

received calls from this number as well. answered the 2nd time, got a guy with a heavy accent saying they were from amazon.com cash something or other, lot of voices in background and they hung up as soon as i asked what it was regarding. i'm assuming its just an autodial from some telemarketer scam

Actually this is a scam, they call u and tell u that there is a lawsuite filed against your name and social security number for a payday loan you never paid back, I have never had a payday loan, they have a heavy accent, camel jockies probably.  They want you to give them your account information and pay a certain amount of money for the lawsuite to go away.  they have been calling me for 8 months off and on.  I never answer, but they use several different numbers and I have looked the other numbers up on this website and this is happening to many other people.  The best thing to do is just not answer, file a complaing with your local police, the FBI and FCC.  They are all investigating these scumbags.

I just got my first call from this # and didn't answer. I have no patience for these scams. I was thinking if you tell them you work at the FCC and your reporting them if your not put on a DNC list it might help. I'm always tempted to mess with them and say there mom just showed up at my house and then get nasty about what your doing to her and maybe there sister wants in or there wife! Have fun with it! I've got some telescamers all worked up and pissed off then i say i'm reporting them to the FBI and FCC! Its worked for me in the past and its fun to make them so mad! But you should report them don't just threaten, reporting them is what will make this stop. pissing them off is just fun!

I've usually never answered in the past cause it's clearly a fake number, but I answered just now. A lady with a heavy Indian accent tried to tell me she was from the us government, and i was randomly selected to receive a free grant because "I had always paid my taxes on time". I realized this is a Phishing scam to get my info. She wanted to verify my name. And then when she wanted to verify my address, I decided to ask her first what address she had and it was some random address I have never lived at in montebello, Ca. Real government, and bank agencies would already have this info in front of them. I asked her name and company name and she said Juliet smith of "grant department". I asked her for a callback number and she gave me 206-201-2474 and said speak with the "financial manager" Dennis Parker. I haven't called that number yet, but it's no doubt and fake number and clearly those are fake names. No person with that heavy of an Indian accent it going to be named Juliet smith hahahaha.

I received a call from the number today and I didn't answer.  They called back so a blew a really LOUD whistle in their ear.  I hope I broke their ear drums!!!!!!

As soon as you pick up the phone...don't say hello or aything...press the # sign 3-4 times then say hello.

If it was a telemarketer or computer generated call, it really messes up the program and the computer will not know what to do, thus throw your number away...

If it is one of your friends, just say Hello after the # keys and if they ask, explain. It will not inturupt the call...unless of course it is a tomputer generated telemarketer, LOL.

just got a call from the same number and when I answer no one answered back...I tried to call it back and a recording said that I had dialed too few numbers to please hang up and try again, or dial 0 for instructions...(so of course I had to try the 0)...when I dialed 0 just dead air..so I said.."at least breathe hard and make it worth my while...GEEZ!"..but nothing so I hung up.

I keep getting calls on my cell from this number as well.  I refuse to answer it.  I wish there was a way my cell could just block it.

This number called today and when I picked it up nobody answered and all I could hear was dead air.

Once I picked it up they hung up.

Probably another call from Bell Canada who never gives up even though they got fined.

I just wish they would go away and never return.

This number called again just now asking about my computer.  He sounded like he was calling from India or somewhere like that.
I told him that I was going to report him and to go away.  This is the 3rd time in 2 days but at least someone said something this time.
