I got a call from this # twice yesterday around 7 pm. It was a man's voice and he knew my name.. He said his name was Johny and he knew me from hs.. I told him wrong number and they called back but I didn't pick up. IDK who the f it is.. but it wasn't pleasant at all. Ive been told these #'s come from apps from cell phones that you can purchase and "spooF" people. I don't think its funny at all.

I get calls from this number on my cell phone all of the time. No one is ever on the line.  What is the scam here?

This " 23-456-7890 " number calls me everyday ! and i'm not even exaggerating ! they call almost every hour if i don't pick up the phone ! i've told them numerous time to STOP calling they have the wrong number [ they ask for some lady name fatima ] && i've asked to put me on the list for them not to call me anymore . So today when they called before the guy can even say a word i yelled "STOP CALLiNG ME WRONG NUMBER ! "  && he said " why are you yelling [***] ? " i said " excuse me did you just call me a [***] ? " he said " yes . " and hunged up . i was in shock ! Now i want him to call back ! i'll show him a [***] ! ugh !

Ive been getting calls from these people for over 5 years. Despite repeated requests to be taken off their call list, they persist incessently. Isnt this phone harrassment? Cant they get sued for this? I thought phone harrassment was a crime... ?

I have been called around 7 times since Sept 12 by this number- I have only had my phone since Sept 1st...I have also revived a number of other strange calls- all of which resulting in dead air or Spanish speaking people when answered. I just changed phone providers to metropcs. Anyone know if there is a no call list or something to add my number to? I am finding this very annoying!

This is the 3rd that I have received a call from this number 234567890.  Added it my spam list on G-voice
They have to be spoofing the caller ID

I just got mine!  LOL  Has anyone else noticed the numbers are in sequence too, lol.  It took me a minute to realize that.  I answer hello........hello....chuckle and hang up.  First call 9/27 at 9:35pm est.

The people that can't tell that 234-567-890 is a fake number are probably the same kind of people that have the combination 1-2-3-4-5 on their luggage.

Calls several times a day, Never answer, its annoying and the phone # doesn't even have 10 digits.

they tell me that my computer has been compromised and is sending them..stuff.  they want me to log onto my computer so they can walk me through 'fixing it'

Got this call twice.  The second time I picked up and they told me my computer was at risk.  I hung up.

I've gotten this call several times.  The first time I pretended to care about their story that my computer had been "92% compromised!" because the guy's accent was hilarious.  When he asked me to go to my computer so he could walk me through fixing it I told him that I knew it was fake and not to call me again.  I've gotten 12 more calls in the last couple of days.  I have told them several times that they should take me off their list.  I found it much more interesting to string them along for a while and will probably do that again, since they keep calling back anyway.

They call me at least 20 times a day I don't answer but seriously it is really irritating

Same here, it's probably a CIA agent in India who is bored. Next time they call ask them to "Code in", no matter what the response tell them the target has been neutralized and tell them to walk to the nearest pay phone and await further instructions.

I just received the call, I picked up and actually the guy was calling from China....told me that I won $500 gift certificate at Wal-Mart but that I had to pay $1.95 shipping !!!! yeah right ! Tells me "you package will arrive at your door steps from USPS, that is United States Postal Services". Really ??? Wow, I didn't what it stood for !

Anyway, long story short, it's a scam....probably trying to get money from innocent retired people.

They've called me twice today, the first time I ignored it, but they called back 30 min later and I answered with no response. I went on sprint.com and blocked them from being able to call me so hopefully that will take care of it.
