This was on my cell and I don't give that out very much so no idea how they get it.

You do not give it out, but signing up with that cell provider probably has language on teh contract allowing them to give your number to third (turd) parties...

Doesn't matter if you are on any DNC list after that.

I keep getting calls from this number on both my home and cell phones.  Getting really tired of these jerks robo-calling me.  The Do Not Call list doesn't seem to be doing the job anymore.

6december2011. called cell (do not call list). did not recognize/answer.

They called me on my cell phone and I am on the national do not call list.

Got a phone call from an out-of-state number
that I don't "know" or recognize.  
I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.  

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)  

I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints 
AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx 
and see if that can get the government
to work for me, and stop these calls.  
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)  
We should all pile on.

I keep getting calls from this number and when i answer they dont talk when i call it back it says to have your number put on a do not call list please enter your nubmer

People deserve to be shot because you got an unwanted phone call?

Cardholder services?  I don't own a credit card at all.  So....yeah. It's a scam. Why can't we shut down these types of "businesses"?

Getting these calls regularly though you are on the Do Not Call Registry? Solution: Use your **Selective** Call Forwarding for this or any nuisance caller number. It will forward any calls originating from that number to someplace else. I recommend the phone number for the Federal Do Not Call Registry, 888-382-1222. Details in your phone provider's documentation.

I recently tried to sell an item on Craigslist. An interested party emailed and asked me to call them back at the local number and discuss the potential meet/sale. I called and got this persons voice-mail,....they never returned my call.

However,..it appears this person was only collecting my phone information. Ever since I placed that call I've been getting random mystery calls 253 246 8510 , 770 933 5215, and 480 586 3198.

I'm on a do not call list, and have never received strange calls until that incident.

Beware of Craigslist,..it seems it has turned into place where low life's collect lists of info/phone numbers and then resell the information.

I've gotten calls from this number a few times but I never answer, I decided to call back and it was a recording talking about something for everyone under the age of 65. It said press 1 for more info or 9 to be taken off the list. I pressed 9, now hopefully they'll stop calling.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone but there is never anyone there.  I put teh number on my blocked calls list.

not sure what there selling , my phone is pay by the minute.  i hang up and dont listen

I finally got tired of this and other telemarketing scams, so I started using Google Voice.  Just like Google Mail (GMail), they have spam features.  I still get 4 or 5 "spam" calls a week, but less than 4 a month actually ring my phone.  The majority are caught by the Spam filter and they are automatically routed to voicemail.  If I do get one of these scammers calling on a new number I just mark them as spam in the interface and that's the last time my phone will ever ring from them.

That's the trick, they want you to push 1 to be placed on the "do not call" list but what it does is it lets them know that you have an active number, and it goes to other call lists.....crappy

I know that at&t sold my number to everybody. they all call  all the time  I hate AT&T
