Just got a call on my cell from this number. I answered...recording stating some crap about wanting some political opinions and that I've been "carefully selected". About a month or so ago I got a call on my cell on a Saturday afternoon with this same recording but from a different number..

I just got a call from this number.  I don't answer unfamiliar numbers.  No message left.

just got a call on this # to my home and cell phone...don't know it and I am on the do not call list

Annoying. Political calls seem to get around the do not call list.

Just got a call from this as a debt-crisis related survey. Supposedly you get a cruise if you complete it, but I just waited to press 9 at the end and was removed from the list. Never signed up for them and don't trust free cruises, nor am I interested.

Called my cell at 11:42 am today, didn't leave message.

Computer call for a political survey, says if you take the poll you will recieve a free 2 day cruise in the Bahamas, or press 9 and be removed, Opted for 9.

got a call, but didn't answer. reading above posts, i'd be careful about "pressing 9" to be removed in case that sends signal to robo-caller that you're a live person and a legit phone number. they may then sell your number. this is just my guess of what COULD happen. i don't actually know. I just remember back in the day if you got junk email and click the "unsubscribe" link you opened the floodgates of junk email on yourself.

Just got the call on my cell phone as well.  It's a political survey.  Any calls having to do with politics, or for political parties, are exempt from the Do Not Call registry.  So even if you are registered on the Do Not Call registry, ANY type a call having to do with a government survey, a campaigning official, or your political party that you are registered under, are all exempt and allowed to call you.

You have to keep in mind, you didn't really believe that the government would set up a Do Not Call registry and then keep themselves from being able to call you, did you?  And besides, if they were to get sued for violating that registry....it would just be them paying themselves the fine.

Just listen to the first few moments of the call...you get asked if you want to take the survey, or press 9 to have yourself removed from any future calls.

It's "Political Opinions of America." A robot. They have been calling me once a week for the past 4 months. I have blocked the number they call from each time and every week they call from a new number. I'm on the do-not-call list and apparently this doesn't matter, but this robot business is really starting to grind my gears. Don't bother blocking, apparently there is an option to remove yourself from the list at the end if you listen to it all. Good to know i guess, that is most definitely my plan next time they call. Because they will call again. Grr.

I believe that political robo calls are not regulated by the do not call list.

Just got a call...but didn't answer. From all the previous posts, appears to be Political Opinions of America. Go to their website to remove your # www.politicalopinionsofamerica.org

Just received the same call. But just so you all know, DNC lists does not apply to political organizations. If you are an infrequent voter, you will be called the most frequent. Aggravating, but just ask to be removed from the list.
