this Tacoma, WA # just called my cell. i was driving, picked up cuz i thought it was my reminder for my prescription. was a political survey with a free vacation for participating...hung up & blocked.

Didn't answer it; ........political call as you say. I didn't ask to be put on the list so I'm not going to waste my cell minutes to be taken off the list. Political calls are immune from spam I think...........yet politicians fine spammers of email; go figure

Sorry, they're hip to that one. I've gotten several calls from these scam artists, and they never use the same number more than once. They will call until you get so mad, you answer the phone and then they'll try to rope you in. Just keep ignoring them.

This is an election year. Everyone should ask the candidates about this. Obama recently said he wants to create more telemarketing jobs for spouses of servicemen. He sees nothing wrong with telemarketing.

Its 2012  no one in their right mind listens to this JUNK, if they do its only to be removed from the call list. Its annoying and it dose not work.

I'm getting calls at home and on cell phones for me and my kids.  We are also on the Do not call list.  Thanks for the websit info, hopefully the number removal works!

Got a missed call from this number. Like a previous post suggested, I went to http://www.politicalopinionsofamerica.org/user_dnc.aspx
and removed my number from their list.

I just got a call from this number. The robocall *claims* to be a political call, but I don't believe it for one minute. Why? Because the robocall claims that I'll get a free, all-expenses-paid vacation to the Bahamas if I complete it. *Yeah right.* A legit political operation would *not* have the resources to give a free vacation to every schmo who completed a stupid survey; this is just a clever trick to make the call sound like something other than a scam, since political calls are the sort of thing you'd expect this season. Very likely, the "survey" would have involved plenty of personal info questions that would have allowed the caller to steal your identity. I'd be *very* wary about pressing 1, or 9, or giving any other sort of response to this call other than just hanging up.

Received a phone call from this number about 40 minutes ago, I, too, am on the Do Not Call Registry, why do they call.

recd a call from this # @6:26PM tonight on my cell,which is a South Ga.(912 area code) phone #. I don't have V/M set up on this #, so no msgs are ever left if I can't answer it. IF it is a political call, they didn't get the # from me, so it's obviously a robocall!! Previous posts are correc t saying political orgs, like non-profits, are exempt from DNC rules. Go figure !!!

They exempted themselves. How conveeeenient. I got a call last night at dinner on my cell. Don't know 'em, don't answer 'em.
