Only the last 7 digits shown on my screen. No area code. I didn't answer. The voicemail showed the full number. The message was only "transfer you to our security department".

Just got the last 7 digits. Recorded voice said "your BECU MasterCard has been locked" and to press 1 to be transferred to someone. Hung up after hearing that.

The call came in at 12:06 a.m. stating my MasterCard had been blocked and I needed to press 1 to unblock otherwise press 2. The voice recording almost caught me off guard as it woke me. It almost got me, I found it odd the voice recording had been brief. SCAM I'm sure from all the posts.

Same message here and they called at 1:33am. You know because all legit businesses conduct business at 1:33am.

Seattle area, caller # was only 7 digits no area code though. I caught the call at the beginning of message where they stated it was "Boeing Employees Credit Union" calling (NOT BECU, TOTAL SCAM!), & they regret to inform me that my MasterCard has been deactivated & like others state, press 1 to get transferred to the security dept to reactivate.
I pressed 1 to see if I could get thru to someone to have my number removed from their calling list but no live person... As soon as you press 1 then they ask for your 16 digit card number. After failing to bypass this I pressed 2 to "exit" & got a "Main Menu" that gives you 2 options: Press 1 to reactivate card or 2 to exit. I selected 2 & the line immediately disconnected.
This is a scam they are trying to trick people into giving them CC info. BTW, I don't even have a BECU account & never have! But how did they get my cell phone number to call? Idk. *BEWARE*

Yep... & then they will use that info to steal your identity! That's exactly the scam they're running. They're counting on people who are not aware of the ID Theft phishing scans to get scared & enter the info & once they have that they will steal the person's money & identity.
*Don't be victim to these SCAMS*
REAL banks will NEVER call & ASK for ANY personal info especially with an automated message! ALSO, if the card had an issue & was truly blocked, they'd send a letter notifying you & will list a phone number & ask that YOU CONTACT THEM to resolve.
