- DrewCall 2 4 times a week 2-4 times a night.... Several times I answer no one is there....
Finally got a rep tonight told them to delete my number.... they called back and I asked what the FU*$ they want?
He told me .... We are after you.... We know where you live... BE AFRAID....
Told them to bring it.... I am a US Secret Federal Agent... He said.... Just you wait... We will be there soon. - chrisWe've been getting these same Windows 7 scam calls too and we're also on the DNC list.
The number traces to Cleveland, Texas (USA).
A map search shows us that this location is less than an hour's drive North-Northeast of the FBI's Houston Division, www.fbi.gov/houston/.
While the FTC is dragging its feet on our DNC-list reports, let's hope that Houston FBI agents Perrye K. Turner, Michael E. Anderson, Carlos J. Barron, Christopher Freeze, Edward Michel, and/or C. Todd Ratcliffe can get some action going A.S.A.P. to track down these verbally abusive Indo/Pakistani scam artists using the nearby areacode 281 number for their calls.

keywords: foreign operatives, data breach, hackers, cybercrime, cyberattack - Not Born YesterdayHave received repeated phone calls from this number and avoided; finally answered to tell them to put me on the DNC.
Asian accent, not Indian. Said he was calling about my computer and wondered why I was so rude (merely asked to be put on DNC list).Said he'd call tomorrow. Thankfully, I can block them. Surprised authorities haven't shut them down yet after so many reports- Caller: No ID- Cleveland, TX
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MichaelCalled and said there was a virus on my computer and wanted to help me fix it. I called him a scammer and he started cussing at me and hung up. They want you to download something so they can get control of your computer.
- Caller: Electronic something
- Call type: Prank
- el_gran_gatoThe caller was fumbling my last name-- asking "is this Mr or Mrs <last name>". I have quite a deep voice and would never be mistaken for a woman's voice. Anyways, I politely said "can I ask who is calling, because this number is on the DNC list", to which the thick accented (indian) caller replied "you can go to hell with your do no call list". So... hopefully tax dollars can be spent shutting these meanies down.
- Bonniesame as above -- claimed to be tech support calling about my infected windows computer (odd given I have only macs) and had a heavy indian accent. I played along, asked for their company name and address, which they gave as Electronic World Support Services @ 180 3rd street, NY NY 10009. The site they wanted me to go to was ewss.us. When I told them I was calling the NY police to report them I was called a whole bunch of foul names ending with fu--ing bi--h, you fu--ing bi--h at which point they hung up. Wish these scammers could easily be locked up.
- Caller: Electronic World Support Service
- SueI got the same message by a male with a strong accent (keeps calling). He says he wants to help me with my computer problems, that I had a virus on my computer. Told him I did not have a virus. This definitely some type of scam to get personal information.
- MikeRecieved a call on my new cell phone from 1-281-5933503
- beetdiggerA guy with a thick accent called my home and said "there is a much bad virus on your email" i hung up after that.

- Caller: scammer
- GinnyI received six calls yesterday from this number. I only answered last one and yelled What do you want? You have called here six times. He said money and immediately hung up.
- HankSame as above. I've gotten this call multiple times, usually from a male with an East Indian accent. When they call to tell you that your computer infected, it's always fun to ask them what KIND of computer you have. They won't know, of course, and will start to get mad at you. One of them once insisted that I have the microsoft operating system (I don't), and told me I was putting the Internet in danger! Very annoying, but it's mildly amusing to keep them on the line as long as possible just to waste their time. The longer you keep them on, the ruder they will get-- especially if you ask for a supervisor. It's also fun to speak foreign languages back at them. I always ask to be removed from the list, remind them that I am on the "do not call list" and ask them not to call me again. They usually mock my request. If you call the number back you get an answering machine that tells you the number is no longer in service-- but the answering machine makes me believe this is not a real phone company message. Can somebody think of a way to shut these crooks down once and for all? Or at least shut down their phone line?

- BrianGot a call from this guy saying my windows computer has a virus. I told him he was mistaken and he started arguing with someone in the back ground in a middle eastern language. I told him not to call again. Now i get about 2 to 4 calls a day harassing me.

- ViejaHHad a missed call - was taking dog out to poop. Better dog poop then cyber poop! Glad I missed call. And again I am on the federal do not call registry and I get calls on both home and cell (all listed with registry) on such a regular basis, that I think maybe they are the ones giving out my number!
- MelaNCra Cra people called today. Let him go thru his spiel. Told him I could hardly understand his heavy accent. Told him I didn't speak computer language. Then he told me he would have to remote in to my computer. Told him I didn't understand what he meant by remoting in. When he explained, I told him that the devil is a liar and so is he and his scam .. now remote into this... CLICK!!!!!

- FedUpForeverI have been getting numerous calls from this # since 2/23/15. Called yesterday, 2/25 and finally answered it and told them to take my # off their list, hang up. Today, 2/26, called again so I answered and asked why they were calling again as I had told them yesterday not to call again and remove my #. Got into a yelling match and even with female Sup! She informed me they would NOT remove my # and that they would continue to CALL!!! After 3 or 4 minutes of this, I hung up! Called my state Attorney General's office to file a complaint. She gave me the Federal Trade Commission #: (877) 382-4357, to file a complaint. She said if more people would file a complaint, and contact there state representatives about these calls, something might get done. If enough PEOPLE will take to time to do these two things, maybe they would take our complaints and actually make sure something is done to stop them. In other words, BUG THEM TO DEATH WITH OUR COMPLAINTS UNTIL THEY DO SOMETHING TO GET RID OF US! Also, until something is done, get a police or referree whistle or an air horn, and blow hard on the whistle or use the air horn - they WILL get your # off the list if all they get is an "ear full"! Time for all of us to take action to get our phones back to our own business - since we're paying the bill to have one for OUR benefit - NOT theirs!!!

- kayo281-593-3503 called. ID says "TEXAS CALL". Identified as IT Support receiving errors from my machine. I noted this was a do not call number, and she is calling while I am receiving another phony IT Support call from a different number. 363-279-5683
This time I messed with one of them. He wanted me to start my eventviewer and see how many errors and warnings I received. [Anyone who knows windows knows that Windows generates these like water normally]. They wanted me to access their website www.ammyy.com/aa_v3.exe DO not do this, likely it transmits some kind of virus.
