I got this exact same msg from this lizzy person...i sent an email back for more information from her & i got the run around. got to thinking i should research this and came across this. Thank you for posting about her...glad I havent given my info to her. I am always careful with it anyway.

Asked the full address from this Jacob Black and havnt heard from him or it or who ever he is I too was selling my wedding dress on craigs list I thought it was odd someone wanted to buy it from another state not even seeing it in person..thanks to all your posts I now know we are dealing with some kind of sicko

I just received a check from a david walton scam from craigslist, he wants my organ for his daughter (amy) for her recital, so i messed with him and played along i just got a check that has comic sans as a font on it, it looks pretty real but obviously it is not. However the check is from LIM college in new york and the fed ex package is from james wiliams of rifle and associates inc. in cincinnati ohio lol so why would the check go from ny to ohio to me? anyway, the organ is only listed for 250.00 but i got a check for 2250.00

I almost got caputred by this David Walton [***] on Craigslist. I went as far as giving him my address and phone number and then he started texting me. I was curious about the job he did. So I search him on Google. and LO AND BEHOLD i found this lovely sight! I was pissed when I realized I was about to put my self in danger. So i told him off. I called FedEx and am trying to get them to return the package to the sender before it reaches my house. i have also requested that they turn that person into the police because this is just BS!!!!!

I knew something was up because it was the way he was talking to me. I was upset about his tone in the email. it was more demanding if ever!

I got an email from him today as well and he is asking about the accordion I have for sale.He says"Am really interested in your keyboard on craiglist can you reduce price by 5%?anyway get back to me with final price." In the first place, it's not a keyboard." Its a keyboard accordion, you [***]!" Second, he can't talk evidently, because his writing is ridiculous. His name is DAVID WALTON. He is a scammer. Thank Goodness for this blog. This is the second time that I know of that someone has attempted to scam me on CL. I wish pieces of crap like this would just get a real job and stop trying to take advantage of people as their career.

I got put in the same situation. I gave him my address and number. and he sent me three messages about the keyborad i had for sale.  Im also going to turn the emails and the check to a police department before anything bad happens.

Oh my gosh! I am so glad I googled this guy BEFORE I gave him my address. The whole email is like the exact same, only he's interested in my keyboard.

Nonetheless, I will be willing and relieved to pay you with a USPS Money Order. I will also arrange with a picker/carrier that will come for the pickup of the keyboard at your address or any public place of your choice. The money orders will cover your payment and my picker's payment. Once you receive the money orders, take it to your bank and get it cashed. Deduct your payment for the keyboard, and send the remaining funds to the picker for the pick-up of the keyboard. I'll appreciate you consider it sold to me by this means,  especially because the keyboard is meant for my daughter; she will be starting her musical class pretty soon and she's really on my neck about this.
To clear any doubts, after payment clears you may cash at your bank afterwards. my picker will be coming for the pickup of the keyboard. As such I would like to know how your name should appear on the USPS Money Order and what valid residential/office address or public place should I mail it to via UPS courier service? I am ready to make payment as soon as I get your mailing details. You can trust me by this means of payment, and it's 100% legitimate. Thanks for selling the keyboard.
Note that my shipper will be coming for the pick-up after you have successfully received and cashed the money order at your bank. Hope to hear back from you soon.

Hahahaaha WOWWWW what is with this person??? Because I just got the run around crap with this sick guy too about me selling my wedding dress. & the message is basically the same but mine was done thru text. It goes

"Good morning. I am still interested in the wedding dress, what is the asking price?"
then no response after I said the price.

Next day
"Hello, I still want the dress for my daugthers wedding this month, ok? I will pay you $550 and the extra $50 is for you to  hold the dress til you get your money cos am paying via Bank certified cashier check or Postal money order. we just move to Utah cos of my new job as a security agent, don't worry about the shipment cos it would be handled by me. Please let me know if my offer is accepted asap."
I told them I would only accept cash or a money order done thru Walmart b/c I've been scammed before.

Then I got that SAME EXACT TEXT over a 2 week period.
Finally, I just told them off by calling & told them not to waste my time if they weren't serious.

Then they texted me from a different number.

"Hello, how are you doing? What is the size of the wedding dress and it's last asking price cos I am still interested. Roger."
I knew it was the same people so I kinda told offf since I've explained it before.

Then they sent "As soon as you get the money order cashed and you have your money, pick up will be done immediately by shipper.. So send me the name and address where payment should be sent."

I told them I will give the walmart info in the morning since it was farrrr after midnight.  then this is where they COMPLETELY screwed themselves.

Well, I'M FROM UTAH ORIGINALLY and I know FOR A FACT noooo existing housing address is at that location so I googled his "name" and the address and found this page. Hahahaha! So I told them both numbers will be reported to the police for attempted fraud because numbers can be traced back to the buyers. The only way they won't be caught is if they paid/pay for the phone in cash. But they don't seem very smart.

Other numbers they've been using is:
214-810-0564 and 909-333-6407.

I really hope this sick f*** who seems to get a pleasure out of wasting their pathetic life by wasting other's lives and time gets caught soon.

David Walton as he goes by is now not only trying to scam people by buying things he is now posting fake job ads that look completely ligit, until he emails you telling you that jobs is no longer available but has an opening for a personal assistant. David want items shipped to you so you can then send them to him (pretty much doing his dirty for him) SCAM ALERT

Yea I was looking for a job online so I guess David Walton seen a post on 1 of the job websites and contacted me via Email he used the same name different number 908-516-8783 im glad I went to the bank and the manger told me it was a facke check
