3000

Same message 5 minutes ago.. also don't bank with BofA

Both my husband and I received this call on our cell phones today. They left a message on my husbands cell stating this is a security call press 1. Voice on recording sounded foreign. We are on the do not call list. What is up with this!

I got a call from that 3000 number around 8 am in 2009. It was an automated system that said, " Your account had been compromised and deactivated, For security purposes and to reactivate your card we will need more information to verify your identity. Please enter your account number." So I pressed "0" in hopes of reaching an operator to find find out WHICH account. It repeatedly said, "Please enter your account number." I pressed "0" a half dozen more time and the prompt repeated but in the tone af a talking toy when the batteries run down. I called my financial institutions and they all said that it appeared to be a fraudulent call to obtain ones identity and account info.

plz identify +3000 number ...unknown caller ....

I got a call from tel # 3000.  It was from an expected call from an FBI agent so I assume it is untraceable calls from govt officials.

Got a call from 300-0 and answered it out of curiosity.. Nothing on the other line. Read that some people were charged $20 for the call.

Wont stop calling even after i pushed the number to stop the calls !!!!!!!!

Said it was BMO and my Mastercard had been locked. "Press 1 to unlock it and speak to us".    (I hung up).

It depends on where you live but I'd see what time they call.  If it's only during the day and not excessively it might be a safe call.  The company I work for has the full phone number blocked because it's a mental health clinic and they don't want to compromise information if anyone other than the intended party were to search for the number and find out who was calling.  Even those of us in other departments such as employment or health homes have phones that only read as 3000.

Called me and said the person that fell on my property fell and wants payment. Scammed. ..

a call cam in on divert from a work number from +3000. Claimed someone in my family had an accident and he was working for lawyers. Could not name who had the accident. Could not name who was the lawyer. Could not cite the date. Said I was wasting his time and hung up!

It's happening again. 3000 called me three times in a row today makes me not even want to have my last name on my voicemail message.

Been getting texts from random 4-digit numbers like I'm some american idol hotline. Never knew those numbers could call you too. No message left. Probably a scammer as I deal with that regularly due to student debt. Can't wait till they kill the consumer protections bureau and we're all chum in the water...

Just got a call from 300-0 about 5:00am PST.  No message or callback.   Seems like I get a random call the previous day and then another call comes the following.  I can't say for sure that they are related, but it does seem to have a pattern.   Either way, I didn't answer.   I leave anything like that go to voicemail and then block it.  Going forward, it won't even go to voicemail.
