My call from this number was ebay calling about advertising opportunities (I sell on ebay full time).

They called today at 3 pm. I had been dealing with tech support. The woman said she was from 'assure', but I told her I was on the line w/ warranty and would call her back (If she was legit, I'm thinking she would have given a callback#). I switched back to warranty co. on the other line, and told them it looked like their sub was finally sending my tech. When I went to call her back-same as everyone, I got a non working number. So, I called tech support back (sub to warranty co) and asked if they had sent a tech my way from some co called 'Assure' . They insisted emphatically they had not, as I hadn't even recieved the necessary part in the mail yet to do the work order. I notice several of us who got a call from this # had a tech support situation going on

I have received seven calls from this number in the past two hours.  I have not answered, as I know nobody in this area code.  The Caller ID reads, "Sutherland."  I have no idea what this is, but I am not going to answer without knowing first who is doing this.

Got called from this number today. They left a voice mail. Said they were calling from some xyz computers. They were asking if I could send in my computer along with the wi-fi card. I did register and buy a few microsoft products very recently.

Ireceived a call from this number as a Rep. of "American Family Insurance", however, when I asked for the phone number again it just got disconnected. I tried the reverse call, but it was a nonworking number. Later I got a call from Heather Berring?, leaving a 1-888-202-3040 x-6117. Hesitant to call back.

Oh, my god. It's happened to all of us. We used an Internet service (Windows Live, Ebay) and told them or not their phone number. The companies that you're complaining sent it might have leaked information out to this 1-301-392-8196 number. It's a big scam, not as big as Madoff's but we got a call asking if our computer was on. We said hell yeah, though it wasn't, and I guess "Lenovo" tried to hack our Lenovo computer...

Received calls from lady at 301-392-8196 claiming to be from ebay and asking me to log onto my account and change my password.  I did not do this, instead I contacted ebay.  Ebay DID tell me that it WAS them trying to contact me & stated that my account password had been "compromised" and  needed to be changed immediately.  
Still, I would NEVER attempt to log onto my account just because I received a phone call.  Always contact the place that is calling you from a different contact number.  NEVER give out any personal information or passwords to anyone based on a phone call that you receive.

It was At&T calling regarding our service.

caller is from sutherland global at home.  they call you if you have signed up for a work at home program and are going to be interviewed.

I got a call from this number on my work phone they didnt ask for a specific name when i answered and said what company this was he started using foul and abusive language to me and kept asking what kind of F******* company is this.  I tried to call the number back and it was a number that said it is a non working number.  I dont appreciate being talk to in the manner that the man did nor did i like that kind of language alot os sick peole in this world....... So beware!!!!!!!

Had problems last night with AT&T uverse..  text chat with att with one of their customer service reps named SAHEED.  today he called my mothers house who uses att.  Did not give him my name or my cell but 3 hrs later he called me..  wth

Someone called me supposedly to resolve an issue I was having with answersby.com (formerly answersbygateway)  Now this company takes your money, and you no longer speak with Americans.
All calls go to India.  My caller ID identified the call as Sutherland, but you can not return a call to that non-working number. If you need computer support, DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER FOR WHAT USED TO BE ANSWERS BY GATEWAY!

from La Planta MD, no aswer no message, no reason to call, ebay does not call you nor does microsoft unless you request them too or call them  scam

With so many "Different" companies, this must be a scam from out of the country (India/China/ect...) to get info/credit theft attempt. I've reported them to Verizon and the no call list. I'd recommend everyone take a moment to report them. Also, I a bit skeptical of anyone giving a "Positive" review here...what makes you think it's not them again trying legitimize their scam????

Received call from this number same issues.  BUT, it says La Plata, MD
