I never asked for any information on this college or whatever it is and they got my number somehow and are calling me --- 7 calls in about 3 hours!

MFL! I got on line yesterday to get some info on college grants and ever since then this number has been calling. Its been about 24 hours and I have 14 missed calls from them.

Continual calls from this number - harassment!

Harassing calls from this number all day!

I was thinking of going to Everest college. Not know. At least 100 phone calls is two weeks. Such BS. So I just called and told them they have a wrong number. Off the list. I will not go to any school that calls this much!!!!

So I finally called this number back, which is Everest College. I was fed up with a phone call every hour, especially while I'm at work, so I had to eventually turn my phone off. Never any voice mails? What kind of school harasses someone like that and never gives a reason, or state who's calling repeatedly if we don't answer.
Anyways, I simply called at 11:30 am today and spoke to the first woman who answered and told her to please take me off the call list ASAP. She said it takes 24 hours for it to take effect. I told her if I receive a call at 11:31 am tomorrow, I will NEVER attend their school.
Not that I would ever do so anyways...

Wow...so im NOT the only one getting bugged by this number...thought I was about to go crazy.

I requested information online about Everest College courses and was forced to give my phone number.  Their automated system from 303-996-8729 dialed my number relentlessly every hour and I've gotten around 50 calls over the last three days.  I finally dialed the number, got a customer service rep and told him I want the calls stopped or I will file a.complaint.  The school's tactics have completely turned me against them and I will not be taking any classes from that organization.

I've gotten 5 calls today from them, even though I never signed up for them. Didn't wanna call them back and have to deal with them so I just signed into my Verizon account online and blocked their number.

I wasn't even finished with the app and I have already had a phone call!!! They have called my house every half hour... my god i never would have even looked at thier site if i knew this was going to happen!!  never again will i inquire online about a school... all i wanted was and email!!!!  They keep calling and calling and calling!!! why cant you just go on the same site and remove your phone number?

10/05/2010 first call 9:04 a.m.then 9:57 a.m. then 11:09 a.m. then 11:57 a.m. then 12:48 p.m. then 1:44 p.m. never asked for any info but got a senior in HS maybe they know and want him in there school thats messed up that many calls in one day!!!  SIX CALLS!!!!

This number relentlessly called me for the past week after I requested info about their CMA program. I never answered because I had spoken to a woman and the whole thing just sounded weird. Anyways, I finally got fed up with a Denver, CO # calling me four to five times a day and finally called them back and told them to stop annoying the crap out of me. The woman on the phone sounded completely fake-ish and told me it would take up to 72hrs to take me off their list.

My fiance attends their program, so I thought I might want to go there as well but I am definitely NEVER going there. EVER.

omg these people continue to call me and theyre not even saying nothing. I told them ive reported them and they continue to call. what do i do to make them stop?

Have you ever stopped to think that you requested this information and so technically it is all your faults? Just saying

Maybe this sounds a little harsh, or black and white(for lack of a better term), however..whether this is a debt collector, spam, or simply a recruiting staff member from an organization, even one in which we, the person(s) being called, may have initiated at one time or other...the bottom line is, I've send these numbers a very clear message saying "STOP."  In normal circumstances, this is a more than subtle way of telling the caller, NO MORE.  Any advances to your cell phone or private or work number past that point, is harrassment.. bottom line.  I'm shocked that a professional organization would a) not leave a message and b) would not allow the receiving party  a chance to respond , PRIOR TO placing the next call 20 minutes later. This is unprofessional, if in fact these callers are of an organization that should even be held to a "professional and ethical" standard

Making repeated phone calls, inducing you to make calls, causing your phone to repeatedly ring, repeatedly mailing or delivering unwanted letters, objects, or gifts to you is....HARRASSMENT!   tHE best way to go about putting some teeth into an issue like this is to notify the phone company and all it takes is 3 phone calls from the same number, for a warning to be issued to the caller, in writing, by the phone company.  Hope this is of some help ...we're all in the same boat, here and it 's really beginning to p__+++ me off!  :)  The phone is always there for YOUR convenience. Not the caller.
