everest....really annoying

I hava gotten at least 10 calls a day from them on my cell.  When I answer there is no one there, when I call back there is no answer.  How can I get them to stop calling me?

These [***] won't give up.  I'm sick of it.

I got a call every hour from this number and ones very similar it was EVEREST COLLEGE. I asked them not to call back and they said they will take care of it within 3 days! I do not want another call and made that very clear the lady sounded so pissed so I just hung up. If you want my money dont call me every hour!

You say that you blocked their number. I hate to burst your bubble. Large companies/organizations like this have numerous number assigned to them for which their system will just call out on another of their numbers that you have'nt blocked. It's my understanding that you yourself can only block a very few incoming numbers. I use both ATT and Verizon,  with ATT I can only block 5 harassing numbers. So once again the big corporations have one over on the little person.
I would tell you this___ obtain the address of Everest's corporate offices and send them a CERTIFIED
LETTER__RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED, costs less than 5 dollars.
Tell them your phone number that their harassing you at and that you DEMAND them to stop calling you immediately. Tell them you will file both a criminal complaint for telephone harassment and a civil lawsuit for damages. When they sign for that certified letter you will have proof that you demanded they stop calling/harassing you. I suggest you sign up for the FEDERAL DO NOT CALL LIST and your STATE DO NOT CALL LIST. Also, tell Everest to add you to their INTERNAL DO NOT CALL LIST for which they are required by law to keep and honor. I suggest you keep a log of times, dates, etc. when they call you. Also keep a copy of the certified letter return receipt where they sign for your letter demanding they stop. Staple the return receipt to the copy of the letter you send them.
Make a police report in your local community also about the harassing calls. For all you know the hang up calls and where they dont say anything__ that could be some crazy from their stalking you.
Armed with the above letters, logs, receips-- you likely will get their attention.
Address your letter to Everest's Administrator---  Attention: President of Everest College/University.
I just received my 2nd call in a week from them. I have started a log of the calls myself. After the 5th
call where I tell them to cease and desist calling my number I will send them a certified letter of my own and I will file a police report for harassing calls. I don't mess with these people.

WOW; you guys are ENTIRELY too paranoid! YOU ALL are the ones that put your number on the request form. If you dont' want calls from people you don't know; heres a tip; DONT GIVE OUT YOUR NUMBER ONLINE!! Seriously YOU are looking into school; but you want to keep ignoring the school you are looking into and then not go because people call to get in touch w/ you when you don't answer; THEY WILL CALL AGAIN! GROW UP PEOPLE!!
