keep calling saying nothing

This is medical collections.  Mine was for an out of state dental bill.

They call i answer the phone and they hang up

Received a call from this number around 9 am today. Elderly male resident answered his house line to hear no response. He believes he heard someone giggling in the background. Then the call disconnected.This type of call does not concern them as they receive "wrong number" calls frequently.

I had the same thing happen except they asked for me by name then hung up.

Thank you to all previous comments about this being a collection business. Same here. I provide an elderly couple with housekeeping and caregiving services during the day. Calls made to this elderly couple's land line are received from this number in the morning before 9 o'clock. The first time was 6:30 am! I answered, said nothing, then waited. A man's voice said, "hey", then I hung up. It was kind of funny to prank them back. Now when I arrive for my early shift, I simply take the phone off the hook until they wake for the day.

Telemarketing!! You can be on a DO NOT CALL LIST but you need to be placed on a Federal do not call!! And every time you tell them to place you on their do not call it takes up to 30 days!! Makes me furious!!

My 12 year old son just received a collection notice from Credit Collections USA located in Morgantown, WV. for $27 and change.  I do not know if they every try calling our home telephone number that never gets answered or not.  Just thought it was ironic they send a collection notice to a minor and threaten to report him to a credit report agency if he does not pay up.

I received a telephone call from them on my cellphone.  Not sure how they got that number.  However, they did not identify them selves as USA Collections of Morgantown, but tried to be misleading.  When I ask them to identify themselves, the female caller was still deceptive in her reply and still did not say she was calling on behalf of USA Collections.  But tried to tell me she was from some factious outfit of community importance.  I knew this was B.S. and just hung up on her.  This was after I receive a debit notice from them weeks before about a debit of my 12 yr old son.  Which was a bill from Radiological Phys. Assc. of Morgantown, WV. that was pair about 1 yr. ago along with a bill for my wife.  Apparently the original debtor failed to document the joint payment correctly, and is trying to collect this bill again.  I now have the cancelled checks from my bank to show they did cash the check.  Just they did not credit the account for the payment.   I sent USA Collections a certified letter requesting all information on the debit which I have not received yet.  If the can not supply the requested info within 30 days, they can no longer try to collect this alleged debit.  It is my understanding that is part of the Fed. law covering Fair Debit Collections. Also, You can send them a certified letter requesting they discontinue contacting you by telephone and mail if you follow the guidelines stated in the Fair Debit Collections Laws.  If they fail to comply, they can be fined in a Federal District Court.

I suggest you google the federal laws on fair debit collections and read up on how you can sent them a certified letter to advise them to stop calling you.  It can be done easily and they are required to stop calling you.  If they do not, you can document their calls and file a complaint against them that can lead to this collector being fined in court for violating the law and your rights.

Never leave a a messagea nd calls 3/4 times a day.

This number calls me EVERYDAY. I'm thankful for the block option on my phone. I can't WAIT to screen capture them all when they go down.
The number isn't able to be called back due to they don't answer from this number. Its simply outbound only. Completely ridiculous.
