I have been getting calls from this number too. Fortunately, someone answered today and I lured her into giving me the information about where they are calling from. The name of the company is National Payday and their website is www.nationalpayday.com based in Costa Rica. Their phone number is 866 513 0374.

I get calls from this number everyday. I mean I have no problem spending a weekend tracking down the owner and kicking the [***] out of them. But wouldn't it be easier for the government to do something?

I have received calls from this number for three days all hours -- they never leave a message and or they hang up.

I live in Florida and these morons have been calling here also. I answer:"hello"?  No reply.. I try to call it back and it's been disconnected.  307-215-1002.  They started doing it months ago and then nothing for a long time.. now they do it once a day around lunchtime.  Something fishy going on!! Too bad I really don't want to put much effort into finding out.. but if it continues, I just might.

I just received a call from this number 307-215-1002. they said they were a collection agency about my land. I asked the lady what land? I do not own land, she then hung up on me.

after thinking for a little bit i figured out this was a scam, so i called the number back on my caller id and it told me that this number is temporarily disconnected.

ok if they make a call from it how can it get disconnected two seconds later? this is a scam, when i looked it up on the interent  it said this information.

I have since called the authoirties about this and have filed a complaint for I am on the no call list and my number is unlisted.

Received a call from this number at 10pm. I used to be a telemarketer and I know for a fact that they are NOT allowed to call after 9pm, and they are especially not allowed to call cell phones. I answered the call and a guy with a middle eastern accent asked me if I wanted to apply for a payday loan. Obviously if they are calling for different reasons, grants, magazines, payday loans, it has to be a scam. After asking the guy to remove me from the calling list, he said "okay, I will be happy to do that for you" and then continued to sell to me, not once, but twice. STOP CALLING ME!!!!

This number called me & knew my checking account information & said that I applied for a loan. I am afraid that they are going to do something to my account.It was after 10pm @ night Im scarred. what to do.

Just got one from this number.
When I see these I hit Auto Answer on my fax.
I am hoping they, or their automated system leaves me alone.

I have not gotten a call from these people, just looking around. BUT, I do understand you people are in Canada and most of you are on the DNC list. I forget where I heard it, but telemarketers etc. have been able to somehow get into the systems or whatever and get a hold of the numbers on the DNC list. I don't know much about the whole DNC list thing, but I don't think that they can do much about these people cuz they're in the states, but if anyone knows the number, call the report line for the DNC list and give this number.

I keep getting a call from this number in SD.  I did try to call it back and the operator told me this number is no longer is service or the number has changed.  Interesting since they just called moments before.

A bit uneasy after reading the above. I've googled the number as it's come up on my call display several times in the last couple of days while I was at work. This should all be passed onto some sort of BBB, something needs to be done. If I pick up I'll ask for a number I can call them back on and post the response. We live in Victoria, BC, CA.

307-215-1002 same here. yes there is some type of software they use to spoof the number and make it appear that's where they are calling from when it's probably what the persons above wrote

I live just outside Toronto (Canada) and I am getting calls from this number on a continual basis.  I don't recognize it, so I don't pick it up - it goes directly to my answering service.  There is never a message.

Got two calls from this number within 40 minutes! First call, male voice asking for the owner of the house. I said I was the owner then he asked for a 1 minute survey, I said I had no time and hung up. In 40 minutes another call from this number some women called. I interrupted her right away and asked her to remove my number. She said ok and hung up.

These people just called me 3 times in a row on a Sunday evening!  After establishing that they got my name and number as a "referral" and they wanted to award me a prize I told them I was not interested and hung up - they called back twice until I threatened to report them!  SCAM!!!!

Getting calls from this number first time.  Called 3 times so far and left no message.

I have gotten calls from this number for a couple months now. I never answer. I never answer a call that doesn't show me a name with the number on my call display. Legit companies show their name. My doctors office shows its name. My friends names come up on caller I.D. Scammers only show number. Scammers don't have any association with DNC list providers. That is why they are free to call. And call whenever they want. And they may be redirected thru the number that appears on your call display so the number that shows will never be legit or traceable.
Also, a lot of these calls from different countries, different time zones, from people who are unaware that they are calling someone in the middle of night. Or on a holiday. Or a Sunday.

I think that everyone should refuse to answer any of these calls. Don't let your curiosity get the better of you. And if no one ever engaged them or participated in their scam (because you know there are stupid people who do) then these places would shut down and no new ones would open. But then I guess those people would be out of work, eh?

NEVER give any personal information to anyone. ESPECIALLY someone who CALLS you. Or someone who shows up your door, etc. Police etc have told us never to give any info to anyone who initiates the contact. Only when you initiate contact, as long as you call a reputable company that has a listing can you provide info. Like your cable company etc. Contact information that a "questionable" person has given you doesn't count as "reputable" because they can give contact info of the people who are in cahoots with them.

We have got to behave smarter and protect our valuable personal information. And it is VERY valuable because it means money to these people seeking it!!!!!!!!!

I just had a call from these people,I live in the UK.
They claimed that they were Vodafone(my mobile phone company) and that I should have received a complimentary upgrade.
They wanted my details,when I pressed them for more imformation, they terminated the call

Calls at all hours of the night and day saying they are confirming an order I placed for an online prescription.
