several calls over the last 3 days.

called and did not leave a message....

I called back the number if you call 1 866 320 4607 you can be added to their no call list.

They call my cell every day around 6PM EST.  It is definitely a recording because I did answer it once but did not listen to whole schpeel so I don't know what they are trying to pedal.  I am putting them on the do not call me list but not sure it applies to cell phones.

This call is not coming from www.cmsfollowups.com .  I am the owner of Customer Management Systems and we are in Orlando, FL not California.  Please do not throw legitimate companies under the bus without know what you are talking about Bert.

sevaral calls no message

I get a call once a day... They never leave a message... Is there a way to stop it or will i have to change my phone#

Got a call from this same number (1-310-862-9043), I suggest returning calling this number and leaving extended blank messages. Valid extensions are 0, 11, and 22. You can reach these mailboxes by dailing *8 when prompted, then dail 11#, 111#, 22# or 222# (22 or 222 is the "server" room). As a individual that values my right to privacy, I believe it is in our best interest to fight back against this form of telecommunication harrassment. This is harrassment, of that there is no doubt. I incourage EVERYONE to return your calls to these numbers to extensive blank messages until their mailboxes are completely full. This is a new age and I, for one, will no longer tollerate any forms of harrassment. Join in, so we can ALL make a DIFFERENCE. ;-)

Kept calling and when answered hung up

I have been receiving calls from this number every night at about PM. I have not answered and no message is left.

Call from a marketing research company, Synovate.  After calling the corporate # they gave and leaving a message hoping to hear back from them to discover how they obtained my private "go phone" number (so it can cost me as much as $1.10 for the first minute when they call), I have not heard back as of yet (3 days).  I did take my vehicle to the Virginia Beach "Beach Ford" Dealership last week and just called them.  They assured me that they don't give out my #, but do conduct an internal call back survey that isn't outsourced.  Somehow, I don't believe this.  I haven't received a call from the dealership yet.  Also, today, received an actual telemarketing call, not a "survey," for insurance from an unidentified company.  Ford Sucks! (but my truck is Sweet!)

thanks to the helpful comment from vegas, may 2nd 2009, I was able to get through to a real voice at Synovate (by calling 310-862-9008, pressing *8, then pressed *0  ).  The girls I spoke with were very polite and courteous.  They looked up my number and said it appeared to be a vehicle service survey and asked if I had just had any work done.  Good work, Ford.  Now, I called the dealership back and updated them on how they actually conduct their surveys (by outsourcing).  I apparently spoke with a different girl who, upon informing her of the insurance telemarketing call, told me to not accept an offer from them. She was aware of a scam by some unnamed company preying on people in such a manner.  That's great, now I just need to know how my number made it from Ford into the hands of scammers!  Again, Thanks Ford!  (but my truck is still Sweet!)

I just bought a new car from honda.

Called 2 times on 9/18/2009 7:45pm and 8:43pm. I didn't answer.

Merrick Bank - they use this number so that it shows as an "unknown" number to you.

Have been receiving calls a couple a day since I had my Honda serviced last week.  Display says, "Auto Followup"  Phone #310-862-9008.  When I answer they just hang up, never leave a message.

I'm getting calls from this number too.  I had both a Porche and BMW in for service in the last week (don't ask!  lol) so not sure if the calls are one of the car surveys folks are mentioning.

no message, called late in the evening

This number has been calling once a day in the evening for the past five days.  No response, no messages.  I did buy a new Toyota Yaris over a month ago, so it seems strange that it would be regarding that.
