I have received a call from this number at least 4x per week for 6 months now....There is no answer when I try to call it back

they call all day long and then when you answer they hang up

this number comes up as "S Engine" on my phone. Wonder if it's a Search Engine program getting valid numbers for salesmen and companies????

There are several similar phone number that have ID of Engine.... Search Engine...etc.....they never speak or leave voice mail..... presume they are checking if the number that their robo calls is an active one so they sell these number to marketeers.... never call them back which confirms the mumber is active.....report to Gov but does not help

My suspicion is that that are logging whether your phone is answered or not.  If you answer, they likely put your number on an "active number" list and sell it to telemarketers.

received a call. No message left. Attempted to clal the number back and doesnt connect. Another marketing robocall.....

The message is something about reducing our electric bill, which I just assumed its one of those energy companies that's attempting to get business.

This caller is collecting info as to when you are home and what time is best to call you; then he sells the list to telephone solicitors.  I "blocked" his number... I can see when he called, but the phone does not ring.  If he is not able to get you to answer the phone, he will eventually take your number off the list.  Unfortunately for me, my phone provider (Comcast) will only let me block 12 numbers, so I have to clear my list every few months.

One of those credit card scams to lower your interest rate.  As soon as I connected to a live person and started to tell her I wanted off the call list she hung up.

If you don't recognize the number as someone you know, DON'T answer it!  This is an automated system that is collecting VALID phone numbers.  When a connection is made (someone answers a phone) the number is saved and sold.  You will get more and more calls.  Just ignore the calls!

I have caller ID & a very explicit message as my message through my answering machine asking for verification of who they are by name, company who they work for, return contact number address etc, who they want to talk to & that my number is on the DNC list... seems they don't listen or follow my instructions... robo calls can't answer & if I feel the need, I will click on answer call & hang right up, specially on repeat callers... these fools are idiots to not follow our instructions yet we are to follow theirs... ya right ... I do not answer my phone other than numbers of who I have in my contact list.. many expect a call back but since I do not have long distance service, they are crap out of luck as I will not call back.. bunch of fools...

Received a call from this number, the caller ID was "IL" and a guy named "Josh" was gonna lower my interest rates and jabber, jabber on and on I said "no your not!" "Don't have any!" and whilst he was still yakking I just hung up.    how do we fight back?

They left an automated voice message about lowering your credit card interest rates.  DNC is a joke, none of these scum bags abide by this and continue to call anyway, figure no one is going to take the time to turn them in.  I need to get a call blocker with unlimited numbers.

This number keeps calling me and saying that they are with Microsoft security and that I'm running a virus that is messing up the web, then wanting to have me install progams to fix the problem.  I can just imagine, install a program and unintentionally give them full access to anything I do on that computer.  That isn't going to happen.  Wish I could get them to quit calling.

This is the same CREDIT CARD caller!  They must spoof numbers.  When I am in a bad mood, I answer even tho the caller ID can tell me it is a fake.  Then I press 9 to talk to a person and blow a whistle and laugh at them until they hang up.  The do not call list is a joke.  They should be able to stop these spammers.  After all the NSA is spying on all of us.  What a joke.
