It's CIGNA's "Well Aware" program.  They also sent me a letter re: the fact that they've been trying to reach me.  The letter states that the program is optional, so I'm not sure why they call me 3-5 times per week.  Seems like a waste of time for them, unless they have some ulterior motives aside from what the letter stated.  (The letter stated that the program is for MY benefit, but I have a feeling it benefits THEM somehow if they're willing to spend so much time hounding me.)  It's not something I'm interested in participating in whatsoever.  I want health care advice & support from my DOCTORS, NOT from my INSURANCE company.

I have received 4-5 calls so far from this number on my cell phone, and have not answered yet.  No message was left.  I found this site while doing a phone # search.  I live nearby, maybe I should go by and see who these people really are.

It's Cigna Insurance, with a pre-recorded voice message telling me how they can assist me with my personal health goals!  LOL, really? Did I ask you Cigna? No.  In fact, do I even have any personal health goals? No.  

Alas, because they could not speak to me in person, the voice assures me that it will call again in the near future.  Bloody hell.

Anyway, they left a call back number of: 877-888-3091.  Ask for mechanical voice Marie, a registered nurse.  She sounds hot.

Got call many times in the recently two weeks. I don't pickup from unknown caller. Hope they can stop to call.

Got a message on our answering machine from Mary from Merchant Services regarding our Visa/Master Card fees/rate increases asking me to call her back at 855-270-7283 x 7992.  

My phone message service said the call came from 314-819-1045.   I guess the scammers are breaking into a new line of thievery...

Calls then hangs up, leaves NO message. Work nights, wakes me up!

I receive calls from this number numerous times a day for the last couple of weeks.  I never answer because I figure they will leave a message if they really need me.

They are a Health Education BENEFIT provided by employers! They are paid to attempt to contact you! It is explained in your benefits package, if you'd bother to read it! Look up Cigna Well Aware for Better Health or Care Allies/Smart Steps. The number you see on caller ID a local number; and they DO leave messages with their toll free number. Being pissed off about someone calling you as a BENEFIT (to help keep you healthy) is about as useful as being pissed off about your other BENEFITS (i.e. vacation pay, sick days, EAP, etc.). By being pissy and not even giving them a chance, you have no idea what was  available to you.

Sorry, Melissa! My reply is not directed at you. I hadn't used this before & thought my post would be a general post to everyone. Seriously, though... This company has helped me through some rough times. The nurses spend the time to explain things to me better than the doctors (who are in and out of the exam room as fast as possible)

I would say that this company is NOT legit!  I just received a call from this number on my cell phone.  They identified me by my first name only, then went on to say that they were calling due to a request I had made to be contacted regarding credit card debt consolidation.  I informed her that I never requested to be contacted about anything and to take my name off of their calling list!  I have not requested to be contacted for any reason, and if I did I would NEVER give out my cell phone number!  I have a feeling they call random cell phone numbers, and at some point got my voicemail which gave them my first name.

OOPS!! My bad!  I had googled the number that called me, and this was a thread it lead me to.  I apologize...the number that called me was not the number related to this thread.  Sorry!!

Yes, like many others have said, this is Cigna calling about their WellAware program or whatever it's called. I'm not a happy camper that they called my work number. Take me off your calling list! thanks!

These people called my business and when I asked them to take my phone number off their calling list, the woman told me, "that's not going to happen".  Unbelievable.

Showed up on my Caller ID @ 2:26 PM EDT.  I did not take the call.  No messages left

I just got a call today and after reading this i think it might be from some stupid ad i clicked on on facebook about getting free disney land tickets. it asks for you phone number and address and little did i know it would go any further but after that info it asked me to do surveys which i quickly exited out of. just an fyi of possible scammers it could be
