just got called spanish message left

I got the same message several times.   It is always in Sspanish saying that Ii can receive an award.

Just got a call from 317-712-8989. Didn't pick up but caller did not leave a message

This number called me, I picked up the phone but I head nothing.  I do not know where this number comes from, and this is the second time I received this number.

Why would anyone call back to a unknown telephone number. You are looking for trouble. Is already bad enough they harassed you by the call. I received the same call on my business number good thing I was away from the phone and was not able to answer. I am sure they will continue to call now since I have a greeting with business name. This people calling need to get an honest life and leave us honest hard working people alone. My number is on the do not call list so how do they get our number? I assume that anyone calling is having a business concern...not....anymore. SAD....

So this number called me, just like most its Spanish recording. I hung up right away.
They must be using phone number spoofing - so don't call back as its a fake number.
They basically phone every possible number in an area, using some robo-dialer.
If you are stupid enough to press 1, then they will connect you to someone somewhere to do the scam, and should you piss them off, they will call you in the middle of the night for fun!!

Because of my cell plan its more costly for me to let it go to message, than to answer, so I have to answer, or my voice mail will answer anyhow and cost me 20 cents to delete it.
Better to spend 10 cents to answer it.

Have had a dozen or so calls from this area code in the last couple months, all spam. This one was in Spanish, did not understand, but there was no option to hang on for an operator, after the recorded message the line was discontinued. A return call to the number only gets a busy signal. Annoying. Can't even complain or request to be removed.

Just got a call from this number @6:34pm, didn't answer and they didn't leave a voice mail.  I think this is the second or third time I've seen the number in the last 2-3 months!

This is fake call. it look like why some one is calling like this? which phone company has this number

I checked my missed calls and have one from 4199848989, 7019348989, 3177128989--all of these calls have the same 8989 as the last four digits.  Could it be related some how?
