Just got call from this number on my cell.  Didn't answer, no message left.

i think this is a scam! they try to get your credit car number by telling you that  u got a prize with your  phone company dont fall for it

Just got this call around 10:30 a.m.... Didn't answer because I didn't know the number.  Didn't try calling it back, thought I would internet search it first.. seems they're calling everybody and my number is brand new and a cell number.  Jerks! I had my last number changed days ago  because of unwanted solicitor calls, etc.... Arrrrgh!!!!!

samething  i called em back and its busy,  if they call back ill have some fun with em, make up cc info, name etc..  its really fun leading em on...

Got called by this number, but before I tried to call it back-to-back since there was no voicemail. I decided to Google it. ..and now see that I'm not alone.. who is this number- and why are they calling?? :-/ hmmmmmmmm....

I googled the number. This is what I found from another site. This is a scam.  The same message comes from different numbers around the US and Canada.

It basically tells the person answering they have won something -  and to press 1  ro claim the prize

which of course costs (through the nose).

It tells the person answering they are caling from  Metro PCS and that you have won something -  and to press 1  to claim the prize. I checked and IT IS NOT

received call from this number .. didn't answer called back from work phone said disconnected.  STUPID??

Guess we are all in the same boat! I got a call about 30 minutes ago it was unknown. I didnt answer it because about 6 mnths ago I started getting calls on my cell and at work acting like a Sheriff Deputy threatening me saying I applied and recieved a loan and didnt pay it back. I have never applied for a loan so obviously I knew it was a scam. They said if I didnt pay by end of business day there would be a sheriff with a warrant here to arrest me. Needless to say i got off and went home with no issues. Later called the sheriffs office and told them the sheriffs name and they never heard of him. They also stated there was a National scam and looked like I was part of it. Not to answer any calls claim any rewards or prizes and not to pay a dime! I even had them trace the numbers and they traced them to empty streets in my area. They said the scammers are using VOIP phone systems and able to make up any number and call people and when tried to trace or called back the number doesnt exist or isnt in service. They make a group of calls scare the crap out of people so they pay them and then erase the number so they arnt traced or caught!!!!! Anyways within thirty minutes of the unknown call today I got the call from Indiana. I dont know anyone from Indiana so I didnt answer. The number that called is 317-712-8989. No voicemail was left and I will not be calling it back. Everyone be very skeptical!!! Please dont let them get to you.

Same as all the others...only I didn't call back. I missed the original call, did not recognize the number so I put it in the browser and here I am.

Just called me(Michigan) google first WOW...screw theses idiots.

got a call, called back and it rang about 15 times then went to a busy signal...

Just got a call from this number, I'm in Memphis TN. Call came in at 2:37PM. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

How is it that people can do stuff like this, does anybody know how to report these kind of things?

Just called me minutes ago in northern Illinois.  Didn't answer.

and it seems harrasing today I got second call which has nothing to do with me ..

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. Sprint user in VA. I picked up but hung up after a few seconds. Same as everyone else, it was a Spanish recording.

just got a Call i didnt answer i google All numbers first,...because some people can get your info from a callback. i suggest googling numbers always!!

My phone said the call came from "Indiana".  I know no one from Indiana.  Upon answering I heard an automated voice speaking Spanish.  I just hung up, it sounds like a scam.

The same thing happened to me and it was spanish.  I take spanish and am pretty good.  So i replyed "No habla espanol!'' aka i dont speak spanish.  Even though i do ;) haha
