    Disabled and bullied
I've been receiving calls from this number several times a day for the past few weeks and they never leave a message.  If this truly is a collection agency for student loan debt, I'm beyond disgusted.  I've been disabled and unable to work for over 8 years now and get a small monthly payment from social security.  What kills me is the fact that they've now been allowed to garnish a small portion of my social security without a second thought.

If it isn't depressing enough being disabled and unable to work, I can't even get the specialist I've been seeing to sign off on a student loan Strange...he makes a ton being a doctor and has no problems taking anyone's money, but heaven forbid he should have to sign forms to help his own patients.

As far as I'm concerned, the bottom feeders who collect student loan debts seriously need to join reality. Nobody asked to be unable to afford paying off any debts, or becoming disabled and I guarantee anyone this has happened to would give anything to be able to reverse their situation.  To the collection agents handling student loan debts, you need to get rid of your God-like complex. You may be in a comfortable spot in your life but don't get too cocky. I swear everybody has something that will change their lives or know someone close to them who has or will have something major turn their lives upside down.

Join the real world bottom feeder collection agents cuz you could easily end up in the same position as one of us someday.

If you guys need help with student loans, you should look up some companies out there that help with getting your loans out of default or wage garnishments. I work for a company that helps out with negotiations of loan payments for rehabilitation as well as removing wage garnishments.

Student loans don't ever go away until paid or forgiven, and until you take the necessary steps to get them resolved, you will get calls from agencies like this, and they can legally do it. Get the help you need, stop running away from your problems.

Give me a call if you want to ask some questions: 888-905-1464, EXT 111, I'm with Help Assist Me: Default Resolution Services

I do not know why these guys are calling me, I do not owe any debts, and I do not know the person they are looking for.  This company is extremely rude, threatening, and abusive.  They are relentless, and harassing, and call multiple times a day, every day.  I have told them repeatedly that I am on the Do Not Call Registry, but they say that is a joke, and continue calling.  I guess all I can do is forward their calls to the bus station.

Received a call at work from this telephone number. I explained at that time that I did not appreciated the call at work and gave them my personal number. They called me after I got off of work and wanted me provide personal information over the phone. When I told them that I do not provide personal information over the phone, they attempted to try and get me tell them my SSI # and my birth date. When I informed the individual again that I would not provide this information over the phone, she said they already know where I work and and planned on proceeding with action..... She never identified what it was that she was trying to collect on and proceed to get very disrespectful. If anyone else is having this same problem or one similar to it, may I suggest that we getting together to discuss options available to stop companies such as this one for the procedures they use that they feel is appropriate. Leave a message and hopefully we get enough responses to entice a lawyer to stand behind us!!!!

A debt collection agency, once they BUY a contract from the original contactOR CANNOT COLLECT THAT DEBT because IF they BOUGHT the contract as a CDO (collaterlized debt obligation) or CDS's (credit default swaps) YOUR contract with the original company is ended and you are no longer obligated to pay. Period.

Debt collection is a SCAM. An absolute SCAM. They have no court order to collect. Most of them break the laws in FDCPA (Federal Debt Collection Practices Act) and would be held responsible for harassment under Title 15 USC 1692 and YOU could sue THEM for trying to collect that debt or illegal giving/taking information by deceptive means. This piece of garbage organization under this phone number called my former employer and gave them personal information even telling them the last 4 digits of my SSN. That is 100% ILLEGAL and they WILL be held responsible for it. Contact a lawyer immediately if you get a call from this number.

I dont know who these people are, but they keep calling my phone repeatedly several times a week asking for a person I do not know.  How do I stop them from harassing me and leaving threatening messages? Even if I was this person they are attempting to contact, how is it legal for them to leave threatening messages?  Its already annoying enough getting my voicemail filled up over something I know nothing about.  They need to cease and desist!

They have called my home and my cell phone.  Talked to my son and said that if I did not return the call "SOMETHING UNFORUNATE COULD HAPPEN TO ME."  I take this as a threat.  I refuse to give the last 4 digits of my Social Security Number out to someone or some business that I am not familiar with.

Frankly from what I've understood, harassing debt collectors are grounds for that debt to be dismissed.  They aren't supposed to do that.  They don't have my number and I don't pick up from people who say unknown.  End of story..

    Student Loan in Collections
These people are extremely rude. They will ask for your personal information. They will ask where you bank, other loans you have, and references to get ahold of you. After talking to my financial advisors, you are not supposed to give any of this information to them. They called late in the evening and I told them I could not speak to them at this point in time. They tried a scare tactic and said it has been over a year and you haven't talked to us.  I scheduled an appointment with them the next day. The person I spoke with had to get off the phone because of a meeting. They said they would call back within 20 minutes. It took them 2 hours to return the call. They offered me ways to pay my loan back. I do not have a job and kept telling them I did not. They said: "why don't you ask your mom for payments?" They said I was uncooperative and they would not this on my file. I was trying to explain to them I would make payments once I obtained a job, while the woman was talking over me. I said I wasn't uncooperative because I was returning their phone call and I cannot make the payments because I don't have a job. She asked why did I even call if I wasn't planning on paying or setting up a payment plan. The lady said she would note on my file again, and then I hung up on me. After speaking to my financial advisors, they said to report them to Consumer Financial Bureau 855-411-2372. My financial advisors also told me to contact my state Attorney General. They scared me. Were completely rude. They have all my information they I didn't know I was not supposed to give. The woman I spoke with has looked on my Linkedin profile. All there last names are "Smith" (i believe for their protection). BE CAREFUL dealing with these people. I am trying to be responsible about my student loan debt.  I spent almost over 6 hours dealing with these people and to find out what happened and what I did wrong. Calling back and forth through my bank and filing complaints.
