I also got a call from "Lloyd" this morning saying that he had  bunch of auditions for me and that they liked my look, that I am very pretty, could get a lot of jobs, etc. I was a little skeptical because he basically just kept saying everything he knew I would want to hear... I mentioned that I had done some acting before and that I had been told many times to not trust people who asked for money and he even had a god explanation for that too, but I was still wary about the whole thing
I knew it sounded too good to be true, I would suggest that anyone who actually wants to get into acting get an agent, it's free and much more reliable!

Oh! my god, my sister just signed up!, it seem to her it was a good idea, but I'm always suspicious, so I'm looking for answers and all these is not rare to me, I TOLD HER not too! but she is so excited about the idea to be a star! how can I report these jerks to the FBI or something......

Jennifer, you really don't have to worry.  Whether she signed up for a free account so that she can set up a personal profile with photos and video, or whether she paid for a subscription so that she can submit for auditions, if she is serious about getting work acting or modeling, she will do okay with Explore Talent.

I'm sure you've read information that has frightened you but did you know that Explore Talent has over 2 million members.  They post over 20,000 auditions each month.  I just hope your sister uses her membership to the fullest.

i recieved 2 calls form explorer talent, they will fast talk you, then ask for money for a membership, get you frantic to get work i really think it's a bunch of bill. why pay money if they want you they will invest in you ,you get paid and then the manager will get paid, have any for real experience explorer talent i really mean for real, are they legit please some honest person tell the truth.

I have been a member for some time.  It's really not complicated.  Once you join Explore Talent you will have access to auditions.  You can submit yourself and really go on auditions.  It's no joke.  I have gotten plenty of work from Explore Talent.

I got a call from Darryl today saying i was pre-selected from explore talent by NBA promos and Lucky Brand Jeans. He was very nice, but then said he noticed my accoutn was innactive and in order to get the jobs i would need to pay $199.50 for a year or $119 for 6mos... i said i didn't have the money right now.. he said to call back when i get the money & i could make 200K in 2days.... SCAM!!!!!!!

I got a call from this company and they basically said that in order for me to get my acting career going I should consider upgrading my account from Free to Paid so that I could actually submit myself for auditions.  I told them I would have to call back.  After I hung up, I thought about it and decided to give it a try for one year.  I then called back and paid for one year.  Then I went back to the site, logged in and noticed that I was already matched for auditions and just needed to start submitting electronically.  It seems to be really cool.  I'll know soon if I will get work from the site.  I believe the company and the site are very legitimate.  Just my thoughts.

How can i delete my account?...a guy named Marvin called me and said i had alot emails that they are interested in me...

I recieved a call from a "Dakota" so I looked at some of these comments and I am so glad I did.  I tried deleting my account on exploretalent.com but it wont let me.  When I tried it said that the account was free so there was no need to cancel it.  Free forever is what it said. SCAM!!

I got a call about a week ago and decided to sign up.  I was worried about some of the comments online, but I am working hard at acting and looked at alot of different sites.  Explore Talent offered the best value and the most audition listings.  I signed up for a one year membership and got complete access to all the auditions (I like to submit myself everyday if possible), I got my profile page, I got the 6 CD set on Acting which turned out to be excellent, I got color business cards, I finally put together a great, professional resume with their resume builder, I even got some of my photos uploaded to my profile(I sent in the rest for them to retouch and upload for me which is also included).  I got all this and more.  So I think if you're into acting, you might give it a shot.  I saw that they have over 30,000 members on their MySpace page alone.  I think if anyone looks a little deeper, you'll find that you get so much for the money.  Not to mention the time it saves me from having to do the grunt work of finding auditions.  Good Luck

i just received a call from a lady tina parker its almost like she made it up because she paused when it was time to say her name. She left a message for me to call her at 323-785-2000 because they want to send me out on jobs it seemed strange since I dont really have anything stating what it is I do. Anyway I will delete my account today I believe there shady and already knowing people in the industry they told me never to pay to show your talent.

yeah i did the same..set up an account and all and got a phone call from marcus saying he had something lined up for me he told me it was going to  be in nyc and told me the commercial and everything it going to be about but first have to pay idk what everyone else said too shady...

I got a call from them today, I couldn't quite hear what he said his name was. The guy left left me a voicemail, saying he was from exploretalent.com and I should return his phone call when I got his message.

i got a call from this number earlier and answered it right when they said it was $119.50 i made an excuse and hung up. i wanted to do it as a career but since i don't have an agent. i am not going to call them back because to me this is a scam

I got a call from this number and it left a voicemail. But the voicemail is just someone playing classical guitar music, and then it cuts off a male voice says/calls my name and hangs up.

THIS IS ALL BULL CRAP. DON'T FALL FOR THIS! YOU'RE STUPID IF YOU GIVE THEM ANY CC INFORMATION.
