I apologize for all the typo's. I Swype...and mine is possessed after this last update.

Her name was Marianne, keeps leaving messages but wouldn't say where she was calling from.  Now I know it's Scientology!   Sneaky...

Weird...I got a call from 323-960-3543 from someone named "Shannon" asking if I were a Darlene Ryan. (I'm not.) So I used the reply-to-message feature on the Call Answer but my reply got bounced because of "invalid mailbox." So I call back and got someone completely different: a male with a thick accent. I passed along the I'm-not-Darlene message, he thanked me and I hung up.

Afterwards, I was wondering if  323-960-3543 had some auto-forwarding gizmo attached. I was also wondering if I had gotten bounced to a Third World call-center mill and had just informed them that my number is valid...

No worry; I routinely screen my calls & I don't use Call Answer. (Sometimes, it helps to be introverted.) I'm posting here because I had no idea that the number's been identified as belonging to the Church of Scientology!!

FWIW, the guy was polite if a bit officious. He didn't try to chivvy me to do anything; he just thanked me and said he'd pass along the message. So for me, a call from this number was just a head-scratcher...

Somehow the Church of Scientology has decided I should be a member.  My cell is not listed but they have it somehow and keep harassing me.  In addition, I received  propaganda magazine from them yesterday.

Has called every day or once a week for six months.  When I answer the phone = they hang up.

they called me, didn't leave a message, i didn't call back. i've blocked the number on my iphone.

Had a call from this #  10/15 @2:28 pm 10/16 @12:58 pm and 10/17 @ 12:53 pm. No message left. I Do NOT answer calls I don't recognize.no identification other than #. It's annoying to have to keep emptying my mailbox for these calls. I want them to STOP a since their only purpose seems to be annoying.

Called 3 days on 10/15 10/16 and 10/17 no message left, no identification other than #.

Asked for a Mike Read...told them they had the wrong number

Did not answer - automated voice message left about putting thousands of dollars on my kitchen table.......didn't listen to the rest.  Love the reject list on my Droid!

Someone from this number called and left a voice mail looking for someone I do happen to know stating, "This is Mariah from 'a mailing department in Los Angeles' and I'm just trying to fix up an old mailing record that I have here on file and if you could give me a call back that would be great. The number is 323-960-3543. Okay. Thanks. Bye."

The number called once more 30 minutes later and left no voice mail. Today, the next day, it called again leaving no message. Indeed, the base number is 323-960-3500 is the number for the Church of Scientology International. Hmmm, all the damaging press has got the recruiters pushing hard for new members. I happen to know all-to-well the nefarious organization that "church" is just having read Leah Remini's book along with a bunch of others. The address they claim to want to "fix up" has been the same for over 30 years. Perhaps they have this person's old address prior to reincarnation;D

Got a call from this number tonight for the first time.  Young, accented male said they were the Church of Scientology and asked did I get their letter when I lived at a certain address.  Female voices in the background, talking to others? I never lived there, but did live nearby.  I said no and told them to take me off their list.  Then I googled the number.

They keep calling me leaving me a message from Barbara about an old address.

Church of Scientology - cult.  Very annoyingly persistent.  I never answer these calls.

scientology is a major evil cult... still pestering me after 25 years... follow me every time I move; just tried to call!!!!   these people are SCARY WEIRD!!

This is the Church of Scientology.  Once you may of been a member, or they are trying to track down a friend or reletive of yours, so they may torment them and drain their money and wealth.

I took a class as a 16 year old. I Quit for some very good reasons.
They have tracked me down after 41 years.  These evil [***] send me  phone calls and mail  They will not stop.

the "Church" of $cientology has been sending me mail and following me from address to address since 1975! And I never respond! I was a member of this dangerous money hungry cult for 4 years 1971-1974 and they are still after my money.

Got a call asking for my brother who lives 6000 miles away and has a different last name. How they connected the two of us is baffling to me.  After the 10th call I lost it and screamed never to call me again-I also blocked the number. Hopefully this will stop them as the first 9 requests did not.

Get a lawyer. You have a lawsuit. You might be awarded up to $10,000 per call, regardless of contact. Start keeping a physical, handwritten log of each call, indicating date and time. Do not speak to them again. Archive each call, even if they just hang up. Good luck.
