GE Money is calling me (from India), and I don't have a Sam's Club account

Getting calls from the Same Number...........I do not answer. They called 6 times Friday, 7 times Saturday and 5 times on Sunday. They never leave a message! I did a search and it says it is from N. Canton Ohio? WTH 18 phone calls in 3 days????????????

i have the same complaint, they call me 4 to 5 times a day. and i pay my bill on time every month, i just ignore them, damn pains in the [***]

they are calling me about a sams club account....when I dont even have a sams club account...SCAM do not give any ingo

I have a SAMS club card .. but I don't charge anything and only go once in a blue moon.  They called this morning also and no reason to call.  I agree this has to be some kind of scam ....

Call every half hour. I answered 1x and they mumbled something while hanging up. SICK or these calls....all day long into the night and weekends. Perhaps if enough people contact Sam's Club and report that they are being harassed by a company claiming to be operating on their behalf, and a class action harassment suit will be filed directed at Sam's Club, they'll use their enormous financial resources to have this investigated and an end put to this nonsense.

I doubt severely this is a real GE Money call.  I have never heard of a credit card company having one option on their number, only to make a payment.  They always have options to check account info, to talk to a  representative, whatever.  I would strongly advise no one to give these callers information nor call them back.  My suggestion would be to call the customer service number from your credit card or your statement instead.  Also, every credit card company I know uses toll free numbers anyhow, just another warning sign.

I don't have a Sam's account.  I have been getting recorded messages daily for the last week or two from them.  The recorded messages says "This is an important message.  Please hold....".  They have no business calling me at all.

I don't have a SAM's card, and I never did. I just had three missed calls on my cell phone from this number today. They don't leave messages.

Notice how many posts have been made in the past couple weeks though... Something changed.

I just started getting these calls on my cell, usually two or three a day, including Sundays.  I don't have a Sam's Club account, just a membership.  The one time I decided to answer I got the operator message, "We'll connect you in a minute."  I'm sorry to see so many comments, but glad to know it's something I can ignore.  Thank goodness my landline is unpublished and on the Do Not Call list to boot!

This is Sam's Club wanting you to pay your bill on your personal credit account. I recently bought a tv with a Zero interest and monthly payments for 6 months promotion and they didnt have the promotion on file. They started calling because I hadn't made a payment yet because I should have made a payment had I not had that promotion. I gave them the information about the promotion and my receipt and they added the promo info to their system. Although there were a couple things that weren't covered by the promo when I bought the tv ie, warranty etc and I did need to make a payment for that. Any calls you get from this number ARE LEGITIMATE!!! I work for Sams Club so I WOULD know!! So please don't question it.

They call like 15 million times a day.. and if i answer they freaking hang up..if they really needed something they would leave a freakin message...

I also started getting calls from this number. They call me about twice a day to my cell phone. It sounded like someone hung up everytime I answered. Well one day I did not answer the call it went to voice mail telling me it was Sam's Credit and I needed to call them back. I don't want to hear "they want you to pay your bill." It's not that because I don't have a membership and I don't have an account with them. I never will after this either!

Been getting calls from this number for 2 days. 4x yesterday, 5 today (3 in a 2-hour span). Didn't answer becoz I don't know anyone with that number. For sure won't answer now. I don't have a Sam's Club account, never shop there. Never will now.

says sams club card and got a woman on the phone she said it was regarding my husband's walmart credit card from discover.....  he does have one of those but he pays it every month on time... she said she would check the balance and it said 0 dollars for this month that he owed for his payment...  she apologized and was quick to get me off the phone...  they sure did call 3-4 times a day on a prepaid cellphone --- that cost us 3 bucks and i know it isnt alot but it is for that phone which we use in emergencies only!!!  we only keep like 10 bucks on it every month!  something has to be done!!

Yep, it's GE Money (just talked to them) They were calling on my Sam's Card, but I assume if callers don't have a Sams Account, perhaps GE Money, or at least this Call Center may call for other companies too (ie not just Sams and Walmart). Definatley not a scam, they ARE trying to reach you your a reason!

Mine was for extending car warranty.  I finally got through to someone and they had the balls to ask me for my phone number - I got really nasty with them (not my style)because they called me and insisted on it again and again.  The funny thing is this is a number I do not EVER give out, to anyone.

I recently started getting these calls...up to 5 times per day.  I never answer the phone, because I don't recognize the number and I know for a fact I'm not behind on any payments.  Recently they left a message stating they were from GE Bank.  I deleted the message because I didn't realize Sam's Club was through this corporation.  Now that I know, I may pick up the phone the next time they call...I'm sure they will be calling again, since this seems to be a daily routine for them.

GE Money has been calling me nonstop for two weeks now.  I'm so sick of automated operator spam calls which do not let me speak to anyone to tell them to quit calling me!  I did call their number back and was given a recording to enter my Sam's Club Account number which of course I did not give.  I could not get around that to speak to an actual person.

This is borderline harassment.  I really wish there were a way to file a complaint on this.

GE Money has been calling me everyday for 2 weeks starting at exactly 8am and will continue to call until 8:55pm Sunday through Saturday. The thing is that I have made ALL my payments to Sam's Club and in fact before the calls started I canceled my membership because I moved to an area with out a Sam's Club. I have tried to talk to the people a few times, but every time they keep asking me to repeat my name they have asked for lots of information about me. I have explained to them that I have not used my Sam's card for almost 2months, and I don't owe Sam's anything. All this serves to do is make them mad and they hang up on me, then call me back 15-20 mins later. Is there someone I can call about this? Can I report them for Harassment or is it legal for them since they are based in India?
