Who are these people who call all hours of the day and night?

GE Money Bank manages Sam's Credit cards.

I keep getting these calls on my cell phone and no one has the number but my husband and parents, a hindu person asking if someone is there and when I say no they hangup. ANyone have any ideas how to get them to stop calling and using up my minutes!

Anybody can have any name and number show up on caller-id, it's called spoofing. Just cause it says GE Capital doesn't mean it is, and I seriously doubt it is,

Have been getting daily recorded messages from this number saying to call about my Sams Club Credit Account.  I Call the actual Sams Credit office and they told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with my account.  They also said they do not have an area code 303 phone number.  Sounds phishy to me.

I have received over 20 calls from this number in the last 4 days. The calls never leave a message, just call and hangup. I went on-line to google and found this number belongs to Sam's Card Customer Service but when I call back the recording comes on that this number does not take incoming calls.

This is not "simple"....  It is harassment from GEMoney/ Sam's Card Service.  They called me 5 times this month but I did  not answer because I did not recognize the number.  I am a Senior and I don't need this kind of harassment.  My account was not overdue.

Well, I don't even have an account and they keep calling me over and over. Then they tell me I'm behind on my payments. I explained that I don't even have an account. They then hung up. They called back about a month later and I've not picked up since and they continue to call me.

Have been receiving calls from this number for a couple of weeks. All times of day but usually starting in the early morning. Read the reviews and saw it was from a company I have no cards from and never have. Assumed someone gave a false number to them. Haven't answered and don't intend to.

This phone number keeps calling me saying they are synchrony bank about my sam's credit cad.  I do not have a sam's credit card.  I called them back to try and explain this to them and they asked for my SS#.  i hung up and blocked the number.  Irritating

This is probbably is sams clubs ge card.  I think sams club dropped them though so it is old accounts not moved to new card company.
I didnt answer the phone because they woke me up.  I payed them 2 grand and they didnt consider it the monthly payment. Maybe because i paid a little to early in the billing cycle.  So now i have a late charge on about a 100 bucks. Paying them off today and getting rid of them.  From the above comments the are a hot mess and couldnt grab thier butts with both hands if thier life depended on it.
