Received same call this morning at about 8:45. Area code is out of Houston. Is there someone we should report this to?

Years ago the government sent out a very clear message that, if they have an issue with you of any kind, they WILL NOT EVER CALL.  Any effort to pose as any government agency will be in written form.  Don't call them back; they may have some trick to somehow get ahold of your money.  I got two calls from them today and will not return them.

Friend received a call from (214) 771-7043 Claiming she had performed fraudulent act... this is a scam.... THIS IS A SCAM.....!!!!!!

Same as beloe. Fake IRS at 6:45am and 6:26am

3463039921 is a Houston number. Possibly t-mobile number. Clearly a scam. They called my mobile number 5 times today. Left voicemails saying that there is a case pending and to call them back. Next time they call, my husband is going to talk to them and tell them his name is Fox Mulder. Lol. Reporting this number to the FTC.

FTC.gov or federal trade commission. I tried contacting Houston PD but they cant take a report without a physical address.

IRS scam

2nd call received from this phone number stating I owe the IRS.  I called right back and spoke to a man I told him if they call again I will report them to the police.  That GEEK told me do what you want to do.

The same number has called me twice so far this morning claiming the IRS has a lawsuit against us. 346-303-9921

Got same call twice today.  Called back.  A foreign person answered as Tax Department of IRS.  When we said we received a call from this number, they hung up on us.  We knew it was a scam, just wanted to see what they had to say.

They've called me  several times leaving messages. The first time I did call back. They got extremely aggressive with me telling me the United State Marshalls will be picking me up within the next 30 minutes. They knew my address and etc. but they couldn't give me my SS number. They stated that I owed $5500. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me he was busy. I told him I'd hold. I held for several minutes to talk to the supervisor and it sounded like the same guy using a different name and different badge number. When I questioned him on it he became irate and told me that the Marshalls would be at my door in 30 minutes to arrest me. I said ok and they got mad and hung up. I tried to file a police report with the local authorities and they said that they can't do anything since it didn't fall in their jurisdiction. The police department said that they get a lot of these reports. The IRS never calls you. These people are VERY AGGRESSEIVE and intimidating. I can see how someone would send them money. They never asked where I was so that the Marshalls could pick me up!

Got three calls early this morning and the automated voice states it is from the IRS which of course it is not.  Didn't call it back but thought I would report the scam on here.

I got this call, and called back.  It rang for a while, and when the guy picked up, I said only revealed "I am returning your call?"  He asked me if I was some other guy's name from a nearby city in my state.  I said yes, and he proceeded to give me the story like the ones above.

I got a guy with a thick accent telling me scary things like the Sherrif has a warrant for my arrest, and that I owed $4351 for 2008-20012 taxes.  He gave me a case file of VS8511TX and his ID# HP260791.  I specifically asked "are you claiming to be an agent of the federal government?" and he emphatically said yes.  Isn't that a felony?  I wonder which law enforcement agency could use this information to find these fools.

Same call today in NC.  They even have the balls to leave a message for a return call. I knew it was a scam so I just ignored it. My question is why in the hell hasn't anything been done about it!

Same automated call, from the same phone number.  Informed TIGTA, called my attorney, he said it's a scam to pay no attention to it.

if you owed the IRS anything trust and believe you will know it when you receive you Taxes because they take theirs right off the top. they don't inform you until they have took it all. you can owe them 1500 and you can be getting 2000 back in taxes your check comes and you only have 500 dollars that is what the IRS does. They have never call, they will send out a letter to inform you that you owe them.
