I keep receiving calls from this number and have no idea of who it is

I received a call today from "Universal Lending Group, Oklahoma City, OK", from 358-965-4259, per my Caller ID.

A man who identified himself as "Charles Peter" said that I have a $1,500 cash advance awaiting me.  I repeatedly asked, then insisted, that he put a supervisor on.  A man came on the line, said his name was "Sam Kennedy", that he was the "close supervisor" (as in "closing", I suspect).  He admitted that they are in India.  I told him that my number is on the DNC list, that I will notify the FCC about their call, and that they are to put my number on their own DNC list and the list of "Universal Lending Group".  I repeatedly asked both of them for a mailing address and a phone number other than that on the Caller ID; they both said they didn't have one.

This is a scam - don't answer - don't give them a chance to speak - report the call if you get one.

This number calls me twice a day, everyday, for the past couple of weeks. I never pick up, there is never a mesage but it is so anoying. It is on my cell phone and I had registered it on the do not call list. I guess that didnt help. I really wish that it would stop.

Getting some calls from this # in Helsinki. I know a lot of ppl in Scandinavia/Europe/Russia etc.. but not a soul in Helsinki..
 
My attitude is that if I don't recognize the phone # , I don't answer it, they can leave a message if they want to contact me.

It''s a pity that despite being on the Do Not Call lists.. there is nothing to be done.
 BTW- in many Euro countries, it is illegal for these ppl to even call you, so I guess they see the USA as a free-for-all to exploit.

I got a call yesterday from these people and they knew my full name. This is not the first time they have called, they called from a 347# before saying that I owed payday loans now this guy with an Indian accent is calling again but now he is calling my home number. How did they get my info I dont know, my number is unpublished.

i have been getting calls from 3589654259 leaving me messages and they know all my personal information. threating me saying they are going to incarcerate me. i dont know them at all and ive havent given them my information.

same thing as the rest, call with no message originated in Penn; I suspect Tele-marketing.

I always get calls from this number but i never answer because i feel if it was important they will leave a voicemail but they never do so oh well.

Is this seriously from Helskini Finland???!!! Yeah not liking how a foreign country is calling my personal cell.....Got a call from this number, didnt answer it as I dont recognize it. Glad I searched it-looks like I'm not alone and honestly, if they needed me and or knew me-they'd leave a message which they didnt. Thanks Google.....

I have gotten the same phone call as well.  I have been asking them to take me off their calling list.  I know this is a scam and they just sound surprised that I do not want the 500.00 that I have "won"... or whatever... I do not really listen to the spiel.  They called yesterday, and instead of taking my attack on them, I asked, "What is the name of your company?" I took my time to be sure I had it right and hopefully gain a little trust.  He said "Universal Lending Group"... it took me a few times repeating it and playing dumb.  Then I asked, what is your phone number?  He said, "oh, that is confidential, I cannot give that to you".  Nice.  I threatened calling the police and I haven't heard from them since.

Ive been getting this number too, but when i call back it says it cannot be reached or like the numbers not in service.

Got a call from this number.  When I called it back it said the number was no longer in service.  Sent them a text to stop calling my number.  Received text message back
"358965-4259 is a landline #. Reply Y to send all TXT messages to this # as voice messages for $0.25/msg + std. msg. fee. Details @vtext.com. Text to Landline"

These people got my cell phone number called me 25 times in a row.  Then they got my work number and called that number 15 times in 5 minutes.

I dialed # msg comes on 'it's disconnected #'

i recived 7 calls back to back with someone nameganpalakkdi   verry rude. called me names .i did request to speek to sup. and was told no .told me i was going to jail if i did not pay fine.what fine?
