get calls no answer...scam?

Calls and never leaves any messages just hangs up.  They have different phone numbers each day.

called for 3rd time left no message and phone says name unavailable.

Receiving call from this number on my work phone an cell phone, and don't know who they are.  I do not answer calls I do not recognize.  The started calling my cellphone first and I did not answer.  The same number call my work number.  I did not answer because they just call my cell phone.  If it is inportant they can leave a message and stop call my work number.  I have better things to do than answer unwanted calls.  This is harrashment.  So stop calling my phones.  You have nothing to offer me.

They called me 5 times yesterday, and 2 times already today....

This #calls me all the time and they have called from other #'s too, but they will either say that I am lucky I have been approved for a $1,500 loan from united cash lenders or the same exact dude calls and says for me not to ignore the call and either me or my ttorney are to call that it is a serious legal matter and threatens me with incarceration.  It got so bad i changed my number and even changed carriers oh ya and it hasent even been 2 weeks and the bas**** is already calling. I am livid! I want to know how in the worldthey do this and how to stop them, obviously our laws will not protect us from this hrrassment! Any suggestions, the FCC is absolutely no help at all.

They keep calling and we have told them that I don't need a loan and I have told them I have contacted my laywer and they keep calling

I received the first call today. I never answer 8xx or unknown calls. I do have a "block" feature on my Android. I set up my message for callers to identify themselves and leave a detailed message. When a new call comes in, I give them a name and add them to my contacts. I then pull them up and turn on the block feature under "edit" contact. Their calls go straight to voice mail and you don't get annoyed with their calls. If they leave a message from a blocked number it doesn't use up minutes. If they are a legitimate company, they will leave a message with contact info and its your choice to call them. Eventually, after a couple of calls from the "bad guys", it goes directly to voice mail, they use different numbers but give up.

It works for me and hope it works for others.

NOTE: when working with a legitimate company, make sure to inform them that your phone does not accept 8xx, blocked, private or unknown callers. Always get a direct number and inform them that this will be the only number accepted.

Scammers. Do not verify information, do not give in to them on any of their threats. Do not give them any money. they run multiple scams including

Claiming to be law firms
Claiming to be debt collectors
Claiming to be a loan lender
Claiming you are receiving a grant
Claiming they are Tech support and you have viruses on your computer
Claiming you are being sued for fraudulent activities and that they are government officials or police.

and many others..

They will have multiple numbers due to SPOOFING their numbers. Some of the numbers might even be the victims numbers they are stealing. They use india cell phones linked to United States numbers, magic jack, skype, google talk, etc.. to look like they are in the United States. Even though they got our information sold to them and hacked from the United States, the callers themselves are not part of the US. This is why they are hard to trace and our laws do not pertain to them.

I also had this # calling me repeatedly,I finally answered to a male voice in which I could not understand,I hurried him off the phone,,,,I believe it is a scam line.....

No message left just a hang up

I have recieved this phone call 22 times, and its the same lady with a deep Indian accent. She keeps telling me I am approved for a loan, and the first 2 times she called I told her that I did not want the loan. I recieve about 1-2 calls A DAY!! and have tried to report it to the BBB, but they can not do anything!!! THERE ARE EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Plus I am on a do not call list, but that doesnt seem to help at all!

I had one, claiming to be a law firm trying to collect money for a loan I never paid back. They told me if I didnt pay the money in 2 hours, they would send a Cop to my house and arrest me. They told me the only way to pay them was to use a prepaid debt card. They wouldnt give me the name of the Company nor the name of the Lawyers... Its all a scam do not answer these people at all!!!!

I just received a call from the same number telling me that I have been approved to receive a loan in the amount of 1,500....He spoke with a foreign language...told him that I was not interested and hung up.

I would like to report this number they have called 4 times today with no voicemails just call and hang up. This is harrassment.  358-965-4259 They need to stop now!

I also received a call from this number.  I was unable to answer and when I dialed it back it wouldn't go through.

I get these calls often. I always answer because I like to make them earn their money. Sometimes its silent, sometimes it sounds like aparty in the background and something someone actually speaks. Today the called and a man with a sterotypical Indian (red dot not feather) accent asked for Staffy and told me I was qualified for a $300 payday loan.  Then he confirmed that I had direct deposite.  When i asked how he got my number, he said something that sounded like "you mothefiucker".  I asked he to repeat that and he placed the phone closer to his mouth and said very slowly "you [***], yeah you are a [***]". Hilarious and the exact reason I love engaging these people. Just thought I'd share.  Oh yeah, my name is Stacey [***]!
