It's been a while since they called. Apparently they are trying again. Who are they?

Just got a call from this number - I answered, said hello but no respose and the call disconnected after a few seconds.

This is crap.  When you answer it either hangs up or you get that sick sounding horn in your ear.  Over the last couple of weeks my husband, parents and in-laws have all been called by this number (or one a few digits off from it but its still Captain Dumbass on the other end).  We all have unlisted cellphone numbers that are NOT similar in anyway to each other.  To answer another person's question on this board - none of us have EVER lived in an apartment or belonged to an organization that we would have all given our cellphone numbers to (except AT&T).

Just received call from this number 360-460-1404 and said it was Washington.  I didn't answer the call as I didn't recognize this number.  Tired of all these unknown calls when you enter your number on the Do Not Call List....

I have received calls from other number like this as well from other areas.  I think that we all should not only report these numbers, but keep track of them along with the time they called and location.  With that information then take it to the authorities and see what can be done along those means.  I don't know about you, but I'm tired of all this nonsense that is occurring.  I too have an unlisted and unknown number, so I dont' know how they are managing to call unless they just randomly harass people.

I think this is the dummy number to get you to pick up and or get a VM so that the telemarketer calls will actually call people and not fax machines

Got a call from this number. I want this to end it is harassing me and this is one of multiple numbers who keeps calling me and not leaving a message or speaking when calling me. I know who it is they need to be stopped ASAP!
