Got a call on my cell from this number, too.  I didn't answer but called right back.  It IS for a political survey.  The  fragmented pre-recording I heard said that the survey had now expired (Really!?!  They had just called me only 5 minutes before!) and I could press 1 if I wanted to opt out of all future surveys.  I pressed 1, but it's been my experience low-lives like these don't give a care and will call again.  So I'm blocking their number just to be safe.

 Just for all those talking about the DNC list, there's been a recent amendment to it allowing certain agencies to call. I think these include political parties and charities.. BUT no one is allowed to call using automated operators. If you did get a call from these people and answered and ended up talking to a robot, go to:

Or just go to: www.donotcall.gov and follow the link to file a complaint.
And you can report them to the DNC agency directly. If they get enough complaints, they'll look into the company and can shut them down, or make them use real people (hint: even if they can still do business but have to use real people, you're MUCH less likely to get a all from them. They won't be willing to pay that much for real people to do the work..)

I plan on doing it anyway because there's enough evidence here for me to assume that I would have gotten a robot had I answered. Hope this helps!

just got a call from this number on my cell phone. did not answer. i never get solicitation calls (on the DNL for years), and i am not affiliated with any political party, so this is quite confusing...

These have called both my land line and my cell phone at all times of the day. I have told them to stop. I am on the DNC

I keep getting calls from this number saying it is a political survey and if answer the questions you can get a free cruise. Hello people nothing is free in this world. Stop calling my cell phone.

Don't these guys have to adhere to No-Call Lists? I'm on state and national lists -- and still got a call here at work. Sigh.

Called the number back and it's a recording, but it gives you the option of "pressing 1" to opt out of all future calls.  Hopefully that works.  I've been on the DNC list since 2010 so I find it odd that they called me.

Igot this call again about 10 minutes ago. No answer when I said Hello  Grrrrrr

Answered questions. They stopped calling. Could care less about the cruise! I hope my answers got received.

The only reason for the "Political Survey" part of the call (that they don't give a damn about) is to get around the "Do Not Call List". If they are conducting a political survey they don't have to go by the Do Not Call List. Ask them who authorized the survey and if they don't tell you ask for their company name and report them.

Got a call at 5:15 Friday May 11.  I didn't answer, but how do these groups get our cell phone number.
I don't answer cell unless I know and they are identified.  It costs me money for each minute over my limit, which is low.  If its political parties, they need to be reported.
