Got same call
when they got to address to sent info and money to.
they quoted one to me I've never lived at, I promptly hung up.  I just finished reporting them to the fbi.

I keep getting called by this number. I answered this is time. It was after 7 p.m. no one was there. I figured it was a scam. I get the same kind of calls from Washington D.C and they yell at you when you tell them its a scam, they want you to prove it and they curse at you. Well I wil curse right back.

The caller Jeffery, (thick accent) called to tell me I had been chosen to receive a Free $8,000.00 Federal Government Grant ... they gave me an Approval # of COY458 & Security #  2210, telling me to call back on this number 206-801-0781 to give those #s to another person. I was told I needed to buy a Green VISA/Debit Card for $4.95, then add $200.00 on it ... when I told them I did not have $200.00, they asked me to ask a family/ friend for the money. Call them back with that information so they could automatically transfer my $8,000.00 on the card within 30 minutes. At which time I could go to my back to deposit it into my account. All this with the understanding that I was not going to use it for illegal use! They asked me my age, I gave them a random # and they bought it.

Really annoying how they keep calling and never leave a message  I tried calling them back and the phone operator said that the number can't be completed as dialed.

Same as everyone else, when i told him not to call back he said he was going to kick my @$$ so I laughed and hung up.

Anytime a call comes in a one listens to the breaks in the call it's out of the country.  Just call the government number in your phone book and it will take time but then once done there turned in for tracing.

I also received a call from 360-780-3796 asking you to purchase a Debit/Credit Card.  The red flag is when they need money.

The fact is that the information your provide to ad money will be used to remove the $200.00 from your card.  

There is no Government Agency that would ask for money that you did not already know about.

I got a call about a grant for $7,000. I never called the number back because I believed it was fake. When I searched for the number and saw other's stories, I knew it wasn't real.

They told me the irs was filling a lawsuit against me. I called the state tax and told them they said it was a scam because irs don't call they send letters

They said they were the IRS and were filing a lawsuit against me and I needed to call them back.  Sounds pretty scammish.

I got the same call today saying IRS is filing a lawsuit because i didnt pay enough taxes from 2009- 2014. said i owed $5900 and if i dont pay they will sieze my home, bank accounts, and all property. looked the number up and sure enough i come here and see all of you saying the same thing. glad i looked it up.

I didn't answer the call when it came through. The voicemail stated that the IRS was filing a case against me, and that I needed to call back for more information. When I called back (four times in a row), the phone just kept ringing and eventually disconnected.
