31th of jan 11.46 GMT+01: just got a call from the mentioned number but didn't answer as it looked pretty strange to me. lately I read that some scam was going on where people are somehow getting largely billed. I believe you have to call back to be in any kind of trouble - I can't imagine how answering a foreign phone call could cost you anything. well, I believe the scammers make money on people calling back. I'm no expert on mobile phones or how they are billed, so don't ask me about how this is possible.
on the other hand: 'how many of you would open an e-mail from a complete stranger with som freak e-address? hopefully none. so, long long story short: don't answer the number and don't call back.

as for the article: I read it in some online tabloid so didn't really give it any credit until now.

I got the call too, its a scam i read some articles saying that this number appeared on their bills because they took the call, be aware...

I'm from Estonia and received it 3.feb 2009; 00.04 in our time. I answered, nobody told me anything and the hung up.

hi im from lebanon, just got a call from that same number.

but hung up too fast couldn't pick up googled the country code it gave me Vatican city, perhaps it was the pop ???

... and it costs about 50$ per minute IF you call back!

Just got a missed call and had the same experience that is being described here. Said she had a very important message for me and wanted to meet me, after she said she couldn't hear me so she hung up, I tried to call back but there was no response any more.
