Crooks are using Automatic Calling Equipment to call millions of phones around the world.
They hope the victims will call these numbers back.  The billed revenue is then shared between the phone company and Intermatica.

Intermatica also own 8821303xxxx and 8821348xxxx
these numbers are also being used for the same call back fraud

got a call from +393193269003, rang twice then hung up. Try to call back, got the "disconnected" tone.
googled it...+39 looks like a number from Italie.

I'm in Luxembourg and got a call from this number. I rang back and this lady said she was calling me because she needed my friendship?!!!  I said, fine if you want to talk and maybe I can help you feel better call me back, but she never rang back...curiously though...she didnt sound Italian at all, sounded like an American accent, but the line was very fuzzy so I wouldnt bet on that, but definitely not an Italian accent...the whole thing is very strange...

Got a call 5 minutes ago from this number. I answered and they hung up.
I called back and a woman answered, said she's from South Africa. Asked me where i'm from and said her name is Melvina and she wants to be my friend.

She gave me another number 2316788617 asked me to please call her.

I asked her if she has messenger or facebook, she said she had no internet, only a phone.

she kept saying " please call me" She has a african accent, Nigerian like

This number called me today. 23 August 2009. And I´m living in Sweden. I didn´t answered. What the [***] is this [***] ? Som Scam Calling, calling allround the world.

I'm from Greece and I received a call on my cellphone from this number at 00.30 a.m. today (08/24/2009. I answered and there was a noise. Of course i didn't call back.

We have contacted the Italian Regulator Agcom.  The company that has been allocated all these 39319xxxxxxx is Intermatica (Italy.

Earlier this year the International Regulator (ITU) shut another identical international call back scam down.  Those 'premium rate' numbers also belonged to Intermatica (Italy)
