I received a call from this # today. They left a message saying I needed to return the call, but that it wasn't a solicitation. I'm not calling if I don't know who they are! There is no reason for a collection agency to be calling me, so what's the deal?

I don't know who this is and they are calling and hanging up.

I also got a call from these people and they are associated with phone number 402-201-2750 as well. They left a message saying I needed to call a woman named Kayla. I don't know any Kaylas, so I am not calling. I've already gotten a couple calls from them. I did a little checking and they are both cell numbers from sprint. I don't have sprint, so I don't know what the deal is.

It's Merchant Credit Adjustors and they're running a scam. They called my brother John at my house (he lives here but no one knows that) and they demanded 65.00 for a five year old gas bill. If the debt is five years old, where are the collection fees and the interest? Funny, first thing out of the gate they asked for a credit card number. When he told them he didn't have one (which he doesn't) they wanted his bank account number. He said he didn't have one of those either. Now they want him to mail them money. The fool, he didn't tell them he wanted to see proof of this debt.

They don't tell you who they are, they are a nasty bunch who have found a way to make a living off the misery and hardship of others. They're bottom-feeders.

TELL THEM THAT YOU WANT PROOF THAT YOU OWE THEM MONEY! Betcha 9 times out of 10 they can't provide it.

P.S. There are a lot of scammers out there like this. Be careful!

rcvd calls several times in the past couple weeks and whoever it is doesn't leave a message (402-201-2839 is a sprint cell phone?) ~ oh, well.....guess it's not that important, just wish they would stop calling then

I called this number after their automated dialer called our office. They were looking for an employee here, and it sounded like they were a collection agency.

I got a call from them today asking for my fiance. I don't know who they are but they gave a number to call back. I been reading about people saying this is a scam. Is it true????

Its a debt collector. They are calling from a cell phone, which is pretty unprofessional if you ask me! My debt was through Alegent Creighton Medical and when I called them and told them how these collectors were treating and talking to me, and asked why I was sent to collections in the first place, they retracted it and I just pay them now.. They are VERY rude and that girl is lucky I dont know who she is cause I would punch her in the face for cursing at me llike she did.. Yeah thats a good way to get people to pay you, idiots. Hope this helps someone!

I was getting these calls at my office asking for me by my legal name maiden name (15 yrs ago I was married) They were refusing to tell me what it is about until I verified my address and the last 4 of my social security number, which I refused.  They kept getting rude with me when I would ask who they were and why they needed this information to verify who I am and they are calling my office.  Finally after getting 5-7 of these calls a day with someone only answering maybe 2 of the times they called, I called them back told them they are calling a business and that they needed to remove my number from what ever scam they are running or I am calling the authorities and Well, I have heard nothing in 3 days!!

yeah i got a call from this person demanding i verify my address and a whole bunch of other stuff i looked the company they claimed to be from online and the number was not affiliated with them officially that i could find i did not give them any information. i do plan on saying what one of the other gals said " i cont care what scam you are running please remove me from your call list or i will get the police involved" because this garbage of people trying to steal identities and peoples money claiming to be debt collectors is sickening.

This number called me asking for my sister. My sister is married, with a different last name, with a different phone plan, in a different state. They said She gave the number as an alternate to reach her. Which is NOT true. I live halfway across the country from her, there would be no way they could reach her through me. Apparently she has dealt with this company through her husband's debt...but they shouldnt even be calling her as his debts are completely separate from her.

They refused to tell me what MCA stood for and when i asked what it was regarding she said it was confidential. I told her I would not give out my sister's number without knowing more in what it was about, but that i'd be happy to take down their information and pass it along....she said she'd call this other number they had listed for her and hung up.

402-201-2839.  They keep calling my work after they have been told at least 3 times not to call my place of employment and if they have something that it must be in writing only and if I do have a debt with them then they already know my address.  Nothing in the mail but they keep calling my work phone 3-4 times a week and hanging up, which by still calling is in violation of the FDCPA laws.. Same phone number keeps popping up on my desk caller ID.  Very bad business practices

This bunch has been calling us multiple times a day and won't give me information only my husband.  But, we have ceased answering their calls.  Is there anyway to get them to stop?

Called, but i never answer calls if I don't know the number. Left a 4 second silent voicemail, which i thought was peculiar seeing as i had also been getting calls from 402 614 6023, leaving excatly 4 seconds of silence each time. They never leave a message for me.. its odd, and annoying.
