Have got a phone call to my cell  several minutes ago. Did not pick up. How to stop them?

Got called at work at 11:37 AM.  Didn't pick up.  Googled the number and found this site.

Missed this call @ 11:10 today, 9/12/08, called back and I got a recorded mssg saying it was disconnected.  How do they do that?

I got a call this morning from this number on a personal cell phone also.

called me too but I don't answer numbers I don't know. Glad I didn't waste any energy to get the call.

Received a call from 402-397-0665, selling multi-room satellite TV systems.  Pressed "1" for more info, and a person named Matt answered the phone asking if I was interested in ordering a satellite TV system.  I told him no, and that I wanted his company's name and mailing address to invoice them for telemarketing to a cellular phone.  Needless to say, he hung up without providing this legally-required information.

Even better, I called the number back, and got a 100% fake "the number you have dialed is no longer in service" recording.  Unfortunately for whoever is making these calls, I have worked with the FTC on issues like this in the past, and may wind up on the witness stand in this case as well...

Got a call from the same number at 12:07, didn't answer.

I just got the same call too. (10:12 am MST)  Didn't answer though.  And this was on a shared team cell phone that I didn't even know was capable of receiving calls at all.  Crazy!

Just received this call as well. Name on caller ID says Myra Cordero. I didn't bother picking it up. No message left. I put my phone number on the do not call list so I'm not sure why I'm still getting calls.

Just got the call at 11:21am on my cell. A New Jersey number. Obviously they are spoofing the Caller ID number, since I doubt Myra Cordero with a listed number would actually be making these calls.

Just got the same on my Cell and have received the number on my work phone too.

Got called at 11:57 EST by this number. The recent influx of these type of calls is why I don't answer numbers I don't recognize anymore.

I also receive a call on Cell Phone at 10:51 am EST

i just got the same call.  weird.  came up as a residential listing on google

just ignored it a few mins ago at 9:38am pst

just got this a few minutes ago as well. i'm in Texas and in the middle of a freakin hurricane, you'd THINK they could wait until they know for sure if I'm even going to have a house left before they tried to sell me a satellite system to install in/on it, right? *rolls eyes*

I did not answer but did reverse phone lookup..glad I found this site.

i just got one on my cell phone from this number not more than two minutes ago. didn't answer, because i didn't recognize the number and i'm at work. no message left. wtf?
