My teen daughter has a new cell phone & just this week started getting calls from this number.. we're assuming they have the wrong person..
I will talk to them the next time they call .. this is stupid !

cell phone co shouldn't recycle the numbers as often as they do !

This number keep calling my home number and haingup

Getting calls all day and after 9 pm. Is this illegal?  

The statute of limitations for a civil suit of this nature is 4 yrs. So, they cant sue you for the alleged debt. I don't know if they can still report it to your credit though.

This number calls never leaves any message and calls during working hours

No message.  Phone rang, I answered it, nobody said anything so I hung up.

It is a debt collector for cc and medical bills

receiving calls from 402-397-8855. ID that appears is General Service. When I answer call there is no one on other end of line.

They keep calling nearly everyday and they didn't record any voicemail!!!  I'll just ignore them.  To make my live easy, I'll just block them.

Calls 2 to 6 times a day! Whenever I answer no one is there! I always get calls for who had my # last even though its been 4 years! I want this to stop!

Ugh. Hang-up phone calls start at 8am until 10pm.10PM!!! Blocking their number due to late night phone calls six out of seven nights last week. Send me a letter, otherwise I will not acknowledge your calls.

Well, a debt can be collected on for up to 7 years,then the debtor can write it off.  And law professor, jones e smith, I have a hard believing you are who you say you are based on the way you just handled yourself.  No need to come across so arrogant and rude.

Called for someone here at work and said it was personal.  Told her to call him at home.

"They" call me wife's phone about every other month.  When she answers, no one is there!
