This is definitely a debt collector. I just bought a new car and had no outstanding collection debt but figured I'd call to be safe. Gave them my number and they confirmed nothing in collections as well. Guess they called by mistake.

Statute of limitations and credit reporting are two different things.  The statute of limitations means they can't sue you for the debt after 4 years.  Negative items on your credit report will remain for 7-10 years.  It's going to show that you didn't pay, but they' aren't going to be able to get the money from you.

Called but left no message. Annoying...

Yes it is true, I had an issue and I called the state of Nebraska banking dept and was told the same thing.

This number calls and calls and never leaves a message and no one is ever there when i try to answer them if this is a debt collector i have been disabled since 2007 good luck !I have had insurance and no co-pays my entire adult life so idk how I could owe a medical bill but they never speak so who knows ? Very shady you would think if they were a true debt collector they would make more effort I can imagine their recovery rate LOL

Call from Jason at GSB - Apparently had a bug crawl up his ass. I tried to make full payment. He wouldn't have it. I can understand rude when you have to try and force people to pay. But when someone has the funds....Really?? And to call at work, not once but twice. It will be reported.

Will call several times a day trying to confirm address and person with birthday.  Who is this? Why are you calling? Stop!!!!!!!!
