Got a call from this number yesterday (April 19), but I answered too late. No one at the other end.

I also received this bogus phone call!  They call, and only let it ring twice. As soon as I said hello, they hung up.  Very weird! DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!

The # that is calling people is registered to a landline company called "CITISTREAM COMMUNICATIONS INC" out of Omaha, NE.

Although they claim that they are not responsible for the unsolicited calls that we are all getting, they do offer to assist. Here is their website:

Here is what is posted on their website. I say we do the same back to the company providing the service for these scammers and fraudsters. Call CityStream repeatedly advising them of the abuse to the Do Not Call list we are all a part of until they are sick of getting calls from upset people and finally terminate the services calling us all!!!

p.s. I would be hesitant on giving out your exact address unless it is absolutely necessary.

The just called me but i didn't answer it and they did not leave a voice message either.

When I attempted to answer the phone, I got the sound as if I was calling them.  Hang up quick and avoid this number!

402-982-0426 calls my phone at least 5 times per week for the past 2 months they need to stop! My cell is prepaid!

Called my cell and advised that I could make $5K/month working part time from home.  I told them I wanted to make $10K a month working full time from home!  Once I got to a supervisor I asked what name my number was under.  they gave me some name and I advised them they had the name wrong.  Then they asked for my name so they could correct their records and SEND ME THE INFO!!!  What a salesperson!  I told them to lose my number and they hung up.....

So basically when you answer, you get a phone ringing and you're connected to an Indian call center.  They speak in some kind of garbled voice and when I tell them they shouldn't call this number as it's on the DNC list they hang up.

I submitted two complaints to the Do Not Call registry.  Also, when I called back there was an option to stop receiving calls (as if the registry wasn't enough, right?), so we'll see if that work.  This seems to be different than what previous posters wrote, so perhaps they're "improving" their "service."

Wouldn't it be nice if people used their brains to do good things instead of scam people?

Got a call saying my card was locked and to press 9 to unlock it. The people calling from this number are crooks and should be shut down by the FBI.

The call came in in the middle of the night.  Scared the bejeebies out of me.  They hung up so I pressed recall and a recording said if I did not wish to received their calls for offers, press 1 to get on the dnc list.  Also said it would take 72 hours for me to be placed on dnc.  I never spoke to a "real" person.  The caller ID read service announce.

I am on the no call list.When I answered there was no one there.

Look at your statement, due to the recent changes with Visa/Mastercard they should only have the last 4 digits of your account/card number! I would hang up on those phishing scam and report them to your credit card company! Plus if there is fraud on your account you have protection with either Visa or Mastercard.

I just got a call from them and it was an automated recording. They identified my personal bank and said for security reasons that my debit card had been locked and wanted me to press 1 to talk to a security representative. I just hung up on them.

They called me at 1:45am last night/this morning. I didn't answer, no message.

Said my Texas National Bank account was compromised and for me to give them my security info...

How can these people do this, who sets up these lines and how do they get away with it?  ALL of this is electronic just as this message is that I type.  I can ALL be traced to an owner!  Someone needs to FIND these [***] and put them in JAIL!!!

Caller ID shows it as SERVICE ANNOUNC. Same BS about credit cards we don't even own. Worse yet: they called at 1:15 AM!!

I left the number 1-402-982-0426 go to voice mail and when i listen to the message i heard i got kicked out of the conference call,WTF??? They had better stop calling me cause i don't have a credit card so i will take it to the Police Dept.
