Spanish speaking message. My last name is about as non-Spanish as it gets. Called me at 3:17 central time today. I created a phone book entry labeled Do Not Answer because I'm sure they've called me before.

I received this call today and I understand spanish. The gist of it was that you are the winner of a $1,000 prize and you are supposed to dial 1 to accept it. I immediately hung up after hearing this suspecting a scam.

Just called me a few min ago. Did not leave message. This is the 2nd time they call in a 3 month span.

It was a recorded message in Spanish.  I don't know Spanish and I don't have a Spanish last name.

Got this call as well. Please, if they called you, make a complaint at donotcall.gov so they will be found and shut down

Called me, nothing going on probably a telemarketing company

I answered the call but missed half of the message. It was all in spanish. All I heard clearly was the last two words, "primera dinero." I might be making up the primera part. But I know the dinero part and that means money. My guest is this is a collect call from mexico?

yup gotta call too, no message left, read all your comments. I do have a pay-pal. Cant have anything to do with last name cause i have the most american last name in the world. they are just trying to get info about you, so you should report it.

Just received a call from this number ((402)982-0710 Omaha, NE) and answered. It was a recording in Spanish which I did not understand and then the line disconnected. I called the number back and received an automated machine asking me if I want to be placed on their do not call list to press 1. Of course I requested the do not call, it thanked me and then the line dropped. I do not think it has anything to do with last names, mine is Hamilton which is not Hispanic. I do however have a PayPal account which someone mentioned they do too. Maybe it has to do with PayPal sharing information. Just call back from the phone they called you on and request to be placed on their do not call list (takes a couple of days for the system to update).

Got the call at about 10:30 AM EST, didn't answer.  I called it back and the message said to press one if I did not want to receive premier offers from them and to be placed on their do not call list.  I pressed one so hopefully no more calls.

Answered the call to someone in the background talking in Spanish, while a recorded message in Spanish was playing over the phone.

Called, no msg, from nebraska. Lame - there should be a service like ad blocker for firefox that blocks a list of user-generated numbers, such as from this site.

They shouldn't call me at all.

Just called me. Same... And not the first time. I added a 'Contact'ontact in my cellphone long ago where I dump these slimeballs.  My phone doesn't ring for them (I set the ringtone for them to something I can't hear, and when I see a missed call for 'Ignore', I know that I only missed a nuisance call.  I don't speak Spanish, but seems like they recording might have said they were calling because they were from a firm that sells dog droppings.

Got a call from this number on my google voice number, no message, they just hung up. I will block them!
