I just now got a call from this number, answered it, but nobody was there. very strange. my last name is not even spanish

Ok, this is really getting annoying, every week i get one of these calls. I never pick them up but every time i would check and find them reported here. Just got this call at 6:26pm.

These idiots called me as well, but I didn't get the chance to answer. They left a message and it was in Spanish, and it basically said 'press 1 for -???-' as if I was calling them. So I call the number, and it asks in English if I want to be put on the Do Not Call list, and if I do, press 1. I immediately pressed 1.

I'm reading people with Hispanic surnames receive the call? Please. Does Tsikata sound Hispanic to you? I'm AFRICAN!

And the shameful part is, I'm already on the national do not call list.

Found call on cell phone, with no message, googled it and found this site

Got a call from 402-982-0710 at 6:18pm on my cell phone yesterday.  I didn't answer it no message was left.  My cell number is also listed as on the Do Not Call registery. I'm not spanish nor is my surname.

received call from this number. I didn't picked it up and called back to the number. I heared the automated message and it was from the telemarketing. "If you don't want to get called  again please press 1. Please give us 72 hours to remove your name from the list."

Got this call as well.
These calls are now banned by the FTC.
You can file a complaint at donotcall.gov or call 1-877-382-4357.
Theoretically these jerks can get fined up to $16,000 per call, so everyone should file a complaint.

I called the number back and it said "thanks for calling back, then told me to push 1 to be taken off the list"
