I get repeated calls from this number, but no one answers when I say hello. so annoying!

Called me to reduce interest rates. I get so many of these calls, I just hang up. The phone numbers keep changing. They
even call on weekends at 7:30 in the morning.

Just got a call from these folks - hard to understand, wanted to give me interest rate of 6.9% from 19.99%.  Wanted my DOB.  Scam alert!

Hi I got a call this AM here in Cape Breton, Nova scotia, Canada.  Did not answer it, checked here instead.  SO they are still trying, whoever they are

Don't answer .i never answer unrecognized callers with no ID. Will delete message without listening.

403-879-900 , Called yesterday saying he was from Visa and MasterCard. LOL.
I asked how was the weather in Bombay ? He told me he had good news and a special deal for me. I told him I had some good advice for him.
Go [***] yourself and take my number off your list because I'm notifying the police.

Rang 3 times before I answered, but no one there. I guess someone else that was called by the robo caller answered first.

Visa / Mastercard scammers.
Lots of voices in background, delayed reply to me answering phone, and did not properly introduce self or who he was calling on behalf of. Used shotgun approach "We see you are a valued customer who pays your Visa and or Mastercard bills on time consistently."
Trying to harvest Visa/Mastercard information which I don't own. Apparently I pay my bills on time, pretty proud of myself for that.
I politely tried to get some information from them so I could "call them at a time that was reasonable for me" and the man said "Okay" and hung up.
Tip for people to know, Visa and Mastercard are two separate entities. If the introduction doesn't throw red flags for you, the fact they are attempting to call on behalf of both cards should be a immediate red flag. When in doubt, politely beat around the bush.
A abnormally delayed response to you answering the phone is likely a cause of them making a mass amount of calls.
You are much less likely to receive further calls if you politely have them think/know they are wasting time with you.
When answering the phone we are thrown on the spot and are accustom to making snap decisions and responding quickly, if in doubt do not be afraid to buy yourself some time to think. Maybe your imaginary pet just knocked over a plant?

This site needs a scammer call type, telemarketers are annoying but don't deserve to be in the same description of these people.

I got this call today, and I did answer it, but apparently no one was there, but they also did the same thing last year.  So they are back at it again.

Just got a call from 403-879-9001

The call takes a moment to connect, almost hung up after saying "Hello" a couple of times.  The person (foreign accent, male) then went into the scam of how he was from my credit card company and wanted to help me lower my interest rates.  I am no idiot, so I played along for a bit and asked which card he was calling about.  He then stammered a bit and said that his company represents all major credit cards, to which I responded, oh wow, I didn't even know I had a credit card (I don't) - he stammered some more and asked "You don't have a credit card?"  I said "no" and he then disconnected to call.

Caller ID shows Calgary, says I have good standing credit on my Visa and MasterCard so they want to give me a card with 4.5% interest for the rest of my life. Started asking for my date of birth and other information, told the guy not interested and he started yelling at me. Hung up the phone on him and blocked the number. This is a scam as they did not even know what card I had and through which bank, he sounded East Indian and said his name was Mike, yeah right!

Just received a call from the number in question but I didn't pick up. No message was left, however I have a daughter in Alberta, so I called back, and it's not possible to complete a call to that number.

My mother got a call from this number 403 879 9001 last night, She answered it and said hello several times, no answer but could hear voices in the back ground. She said who is this, and a man came on and said in a devilish voice "This is your father".  My mother told him where to go, how to get there and how fast to get there, and hung up.  She is now afraid to answer the phone with an unrecognizable phone number. My grandfather has been dead for over 50 yrs.  We have to stop this harassment.
I called the number and it is no longer in service.

February 2nd, 2017 - Got a call from 403-879-9001 about lowering interest rates.  Sounded suspicious and I hung up.

Didn't answer and when I called number got a message saying..."sorry, the number you called is not in service". Obviously scam.

OMG do these scammers ever stop!!!!!

Spam, spam, spam! Please beware and "call block" this number.
