This appears to be a call from the Calgary Health Region. It appeared on my phone when a Calgary hospital tried to contact me. This should be a safe number.

I get these calls every week trying to fax something to me at all hours of the day - 5 times a day.

Most likely it is the CHR doing a survey, nothing to worry about.

It's the number for unit 72 at the Foothills Medical Centre

not home when call came so called back only to have voice message say cannot be connected department unknown. But it was the foothills hospital

I think this is a generic outbound CallerID for the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. A friend just called me from this number to tell me that he was a proud new daddy.

This number is from Foothills hospital and maybe there is something important for you,for example, your appointment with physicians.

i live in edmonton i have nothing to do with this hospital in cgy !  and i received 4 calls today  but  the weird part is that  if there was anything important  how come they never left a message ???

they knew my name?  wtf.  It was with Foothills.

This number was used by the Calgary Foothills Women's Health Center, Pelvic Floor Clinic, to remind me of an appointment.

this number calls my business at all hours, no message left! who can I call to tell them to stop?

They've called me 21 times in the past two weeks as well but won't leave a message. In my opinion if its important and they feel they need to call this many times why can't they leave a voicemail!?

To maintain confidentiality they won't leave messages.  If they've called 21 times it's most likely urgent.  You can either answer the call or call the foothills hospital general number and try to find out who was trying to call you.  As an example, the on-call physician in the hematology ward tried to contact me twice today, but I wouldn't have known had I not answered the second call.

Who is calling me from this number.

Don't know why  & how they get my unpublished number and call me??

Did you not read the thread you posted to... It's the Calgary Foothills Hospital.  How simple a life you must lead.

I agree entirely with other comments listed - if its so important to call at all then leave a message that says simply - this message is for XXX YYXXXYY - please call ###-###-####.  Thank you.   There, no confidentiality issues broached, message left, then mystery solved.   They must know me and it must have been important because they called my home number and then seconds later my cell - exact same number.  Now all I am is confused and seriously annoyed.
