I received a call from this phone number, yet when i called the number back it rang and rang.  I checked my voicemail, yet no message I as hoping it would be but it wasn't.

This is very odd.  I answer calls from numbers that I do not know.  When I answered this call, they asked to speak to someone with a name similar to mine and I told her it was the wrong number.  I guess some people are just plain IDIOTS and have nothing else better to do.

I got this call also today can't reach them... either.

I received a call from this number and based on the previous comments I think it could have been a call for a position of employment with dekalb county. Fingers crossed. :-)

I just got a call from that number. They called twice, didn't say nothing, and when I called back the idiot wouldn't answer the phone. But you know Dekalb Co is notorious for that. Ironically after I typed the first two sentences of this letter, the Dekalb Co clerk called me back from the same number and she talked to me about some court business I have with them.

It is from the DeKalb county - it is an unassigned number!
It is from ANY of the county offices: Superior Court, Clerk of Courts, Water, Probation, Animal Control - anyone!
Do not panic, if you have a specific issue, you will be contacted again.  If you call back, you will not get a human.

This number called my "throw away" emergency cell phone, but I don't answer that phone. I only use it for outgoing calls. So it's Dekalb County? That's a laugh. I don't live in that county, don't know anyone that does, don't do any business there, and haven't even been in that county in many years now. Not even to pass through the place.

I cannot believe this. He said his name was officer Brown and worked for dekalb county gave me a case number. I have never been to jail, but family has, so I start freaking out thinking great now i have to deal with this again,. Called all dekalb departments. Nice as could they be but confused assuming I might have heard something wromg or officer misread case number. They helped me as much as they could. Get home type this number in and this is what I find. I was in midst of an extreme anxiety attack trying to figure this out. This needs to be looked into further. Im beyond..I dont even know the word to use. I need advice on what to do im calling calling dekalb department letting them know.

I got a call from this number three times in a roll. The last time I pick ed up the phone. The guy seemed that he knew my name (first). When I asked who was calling, the phone was hung up. I tried to call back, and I was told the number was not assigned (of curse by a machine). It mystified for a couple days.

I would like the person who call  me to please call me back , i was at a doctors appointment and miss the call.Thank you.

Two days in a row I have a voice message from this number.  When I check the message, it's about 15 seconds of nothing but a beep every second or so.

Caller ID said it was DeKalb County calling, so I answered.  When I did they hung up.

This is a DeKalb County Courthouse number. However, you can't call it back.

I just rec'd a call from that number. With HIYA app, they listed as DeKalb Sheriff's Dept. If it's important leave a msg otherwise send a certified letter. But think it's a scam due to number not coming up as DSD on website

Scammers are using other people numbers to reach out to you hoping you answer. If you answer they will call back knowing it's a live people. If you give them info, they will call back from another number using the info you gave prior. They done this with ATT.  Well Fargo. Bank of America n Govt depts.  This is a long going investigation.
